I use this very often when I need to go into the city, leaving my car at the airport. It is very reasonably prices, hassle free, and even at busy times, it functions well. Cool views on the way in too.

This is the fastest way into downtown Bangkok and avoids all the traffic jams. I've tried a taxi into Bangkok from the airport before and it can take around 2 hours depending on the time of day. Airport Rail Link is to be found underneath the airport and it's not expensive. It will take you as far as Phraya Thai station. I think it runs from 6am to midnight and is around 45 baht whereas a taxi will be around 500 baht. Best bet is rail link then taxi to your hotel once your in downtown Bangkok. It can get pretty packed but if your getting on at the airport you'll get a seat easy enough because it's the first stop or Phraya Thai is the first stop depending on which way you are going. Check your maps and you'll see where it goes and how close you can get to your hotel. It's the fastest way into town if your arriving and the fastest way to the airport if your leaving.

If you arrived in Bangkok Airport - you have to take the Airport Rail Link, because you safe a lot of monney (Taxi) and safe a lot of time (Traffic). Is easy, clean and very fast to the city of Bangkok.

Easy to use and with cleanness and service at a high level - as well as seeing Bangkok from the top. If you need to be on time you can avoid traffic jams as well - and price is very low.

Poor maintenance so it's quite usually out of order during the journey. And not convenience if you carry the big luggage. Don't use it during rush hour or you rush time, you will missed your flight.
