Quick way to get from airport if not early in morning. Ensure there is a lift at the station your going to. We were at Asoke and had to get our cases down the stairs as lift was broke, hard going

The timetable of the train scheduled with big fat number of minutes which drags your feet to stand till they get numb. The size of train are too small with some broken rooms. The sound of shutting doors are bloody loud and a little bit faster than snail

The State Railways of Thailand who operate the Bangkok Airport Rail Link have added to their list of poor service ideas. As of 1 Nov passengers must buy their tokens from the machine and not the ticket booth. Some ticket booths have been closed and the open ones refuse to sell tokens.

This is unhelpful because:
1. The machines only dispense coins as change
2. The queues at machines, especially at the airport can be long given that arriving passengers have to take time to figure out how to use them and identify the right money to insert

The catalogue of poor service includes;
1. Closing the express service
2. As the trains are used by commuters, the crowds at rush hours are ALWAYS overwhelming
3. The platforms are too small
4. There are frequent stoppages with computer glitches
5. Trains begin service at 5.30 am. Guards refuse to allow passengers onto the platform until 5.30. Only the very fast movers can make the train as it automatically closes its doors and moves off, despite passengers still on the platform.

WHAT AN APPALLING INTRODUCTION TO BANGKOK COURTESY OF THE STATE RAUILWAYS OF THAILAND!!!

Over the years I have travelled with all kind of transport from Suvarnabum International Airport to the city.
But specially from the airport to the city it is the best way, much recommended over taxi, bus, or car.
Other way not soo much since trains are not dedicated for airport trips and tend to be crowded

really needs improvement, cant trust the service in busy hours and if you are in a rush to the airport.

Dont count on coming on time, but if you insist and leaving afternoon, then should go earlier

I stayed in ramkhamhaeng and for those who want to go to suvarnbhumi airport, this is the best and economical way than taxi to reach airport.

It was the best way to get to downtown and then took a taxi to our accommodation. We didn't need to pay extra 50 Baht for airport taxi charge and it was much cheaper and convenient.

This link to BKK is so efficient and so cost-effective. A single journey cost less than a £1. All carriages are clean an no one is allowed to eat or drink on them - what a great idea. We use this link if we are staying in BKK overnight. We pay to deposit our large luggage at the airport and take an overnight bag with us to the city.
