I stayed here in October of 2010 (just before high season) and found the rooms to be very good for the price, which was just over 500 THB. They are small but clean, with good bathrooms and a solid internet connection. You occasionally feel like you're sleeping in a shoebox, admittedly, but the claustrophobia is quickly alleviated by stepping out the front door right into the centre of Bangkok. The proximity to Sala Daeng BTS station is probably the best feature.

Room Tip: All rooms are small, so save your money and book a single if they're available.

It is what it is...a bed, a shower, a toilet, a TV, a reasonable sized room

Stayed here for four nights recently and it is a no frills, friendly budget hotel that is central to almost everything you need. Two blocks from Patpong (Markets and Night Life), about the same ten minute walk to the MRT and BTS...downstairs for a massage or a feed...What more do you need?

Room Tip: Avoid Breakfast here and walk down the road to one of the street vendors...

Booked the hotel based on its price. Had a twin room which was big enough. The hotel is newish and has been finished nicely. WiFi was fast both in the room and outside. Computers also provided free of charge in the lobby. The bathroom didn't have a door (by design) and this would be uncomfortable depending on who you were sharing with. The air con in the room had a problem and would turn off after an hour or so and I'd have to switch it back on if needed. Breakfast was simple but adequate, tea, coffee, juice, cereal, toast and bananas. The hotel is set back off the main street and it was quiet. I'd stay here again.

I booked this hotel with the other reviewers comments in mind -a very no frills place. I had a single economy room, which had a large bed, a tv, a mini-fridge, a safe, and a bathroom with no door to separate the two spaces. Actually, the shower in my room and the others I noticed have a frosted glass partition between the shower and the bed which could get awkward depending on who you are travelling with. No kettle or hair dryer in my room. Breakfast is cereal and toast, if that matters to you. There's no restaurant in the hotel. There is wifi in the rooms, which worked just fine on my ipad. You can print using one of the computers downstairs.

The good: Incredibly close to Silom Soi 4, and 2. Great neighborhood if you're planning on partying at DJ Station or a drink at The Balcony. The main street is busy till all hours with restaurants, people, movement, which means if you get back late there's never that eerie feeling of being all by yourself. Short walk to the Sala Deng skytrain station and a 10-15 minute walk to the Oriental wharf where you can catch the Chao Praya Express to several historic sites. There's some good food to be found in the area as well, the Rough Guide to Bangkok lists several.

The bad: Ants. A line of ants underneath the pillows in my bed one night. Ants in a clean towel placed on the bathroom counter. Ants got into my vitamins in a sealed container. The staff cleaned them each time, but I'll never forget that feeling.

I plan for holiday in bangkok once every year and every year i stayed in different budget hotels but i find that this hotel is a good choice this time and would come back to stay here again next year. the price is actually very affordable and what i paid for i get back in return the comfort, location, convenience and above all the cleanliness of the hotel. Friendly staff upon check in although i requested for family room, they tried to check for the availability but apologized due to no family room available. Great wifi connectivity in the entire hotel which is a plus point. just 50 meters outside hotel is 7-11, minutes walk to patpong night market, silom central shopping and also the Saladaeng BTS station. The only set back is the noise coming from the hallway, doors on all the rooms should have the silent/cushion locking instead of the loud shuts. Walls are little too thin for my liking as well cause i can hear children playing and shouting few rooms away. breakfast is simple with coffee/tea/juices, daily fresh fruits, toast and cereals (very basic, but enough to last a few hours in the morning before i really indulge in great thai cuisine) I find the layout of the toilet and shower a little discomforting as there's no proper segregration of the wet area and the rest of the room. Would suggest if you're traveling with friends, when answering big calls to use the toilets at the reception instead of in the room when your friend is around.

while the staff can be a mixed bag, the cleanliness, and location are great for the price. Rooms can be noisy as the hallway is tiled (always a stupid idea for a hotel). But I keep coming back here despite the poorly designed bathrooms and cheap construction - clean sheets, comfortable bed, reasonable price, good location. In Bangkok you don't always get what you pay for but at this hotel you get value for a small price.

Room Tip: ask for a room facing the main street - backwards facing rooms are sometimes noisier

Glad I did only stayed for two nights, although it was centrally located ,it wasn't that cheap, room was ok but i would have preferred a separated toilet , it was very noisy.
Upon departure I asked reception if they could book a taxi to the airport, for my early flight departure, they said the got the own taxi drivers and that the price was 600B, almost twice of the normal price, asked then just to phone me a normal Taxi and they refused and also refused to let me phone one or provide me with a telephone number,JUST UNBELIEVABLE!
