Fantastic full day tour of Bangkok. Our guide, Air, met us at our hotel and spent the next 8 hours or so showing us all around Bangkok. We saw the palace and many temples, the flower market, took a long boat ride along the canals, rode in tuk tuks, traveled by ferry and river taxi and ate some of the most delicious food at both a restaurant and on the street. Air was an amazing guide, full of knowledge about everything from the city to the food to Buddhism. Would highly recommend this company.

Great tour operator with exceptional professional guides, our guide was very informative and pleasant to deal with, she really made our whole experience of looking at what Bangkok has to offer and how they really live. Would highly recommend BKK tours for future travel.

We booked the Bangkok tour through Michiel at BKK and his prompt responses in allowing to amend the tour to suit were very encouraging, including the various payment options. On the day of the tour our guide Ms Oi was already waiting in the hotel lobby for us and what an excellent person she was giving us plenty of information and guidance throughout. Using local transport was a great way of experiencing the city, water taxi's, tuk tuks and finishing with a long tail boat enabled us to see the different aspects of Thai life, rich, poor and religious. Ms Oi regularly during the day purchased water, ice cream and cold towels to keep us cool as well as offering us some recommendations when we stopped for lunch at the Royal Navy club. The day was very interesting and the little extra things we tried such as gold leafing your birthday Buddha, feeding bread provided by a monk to fish and even buying a tile for the temple. If you are going to the Grand Palace the tour will start at 8am, and you will see why when you come out. The scaffolding at Wat Arun is down and it is well worth a visit. Overall a great day finishing just after 3pm. Excluding breakfast and dinner everything is included in the cost, transport, entrance fees, snacks and lunch the only other extra is a gratuity to your guide and if they are as good as Ms Oi they are worth it.

I chose BKK tours on the basis of other reviews and was very pleased with both the service process - in selecting tours, reservations etc and also the tours themselves. I ended up doing two tours with them over the course of a few weeks. I was in town for work but did want to see something besides my laptop, hotel and work venue. I interacted with Michiel, who is co-owner of the company and he was helpful and patient despite glitches in the online booking and payment. I was lucky to have had Ms. Air as my guide, who is also co-owner. This company offers a boutique style experience where the itinerary can be customized or adjusted to meet the guest's preferences. For instance, I learned that Wat Arun was covered up with scaffolding for renovation during the time I was there. I was informed of that and offered the choice of seeing Wat Arun if I still wanted to, or could choose from other sites. They truly offer guests an "insider" view of Bangkok and Thai life. At lunch, as we looked over menu choices, I asked my guide to chose the desert. My Thai colleagues and friends were surprised and amazed that I had durian with sticky rice, as it is an insider experience that many visitors to Thailand may not readily know about. I did their one day Bangkok tour which included the Palace, markets and various temples, and the Ayuthaya tour where we saw ruins of the ancient kingdom. I had the opportunity to discover facets of the Thai experience in a manner such that the local people experience. There were various sublime moments, as if one were touching the pulse of a culture and people, in a genuine form generally not accessible to tourists. These were things not described in any guidebook and are the rich moments that one remembers long afterward. This would not have happened without the expert, caring and lovingly curated tours of BKK. I recommend them highly
