“Pleasant place to rest and plan.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013

The hostel is very conveniently placed - about 15 minutes to the shopping centers (MBK, Central world, Siam paragon...), boat stop, and right next to the train station (from/to airport). For us it was a great starting place to explore Bangkok. The staff was very friendly, there are many places there to sit/lie and use their wifi for planning. The rooms were clean, maybe the toilets/shower rooms could use a little improvements - but they are by no means bad. Recommended - won't hasitate to go there next time we're in Bangkok.

This isn't a guesthouse with those amenities, this is a hostel - a place to sleep and some friendly room to hang out. The rooms are tiny (very)[doubles have bunk beds], but immaculate (no shoes above the lobby). AC is strong and controllable. Showers are strong and hot. Toilets are absolutely clean. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The food and drink available for purchase on the ground floor are well priced.

It's in a good neighborhood with everything available close by and it is out of the tourist swarm. It is very, very close to the Ratchaprarop stop on the BTS line to airport.

On the downside, there are several floors and no elevator. I didn't mind but if you have a lot or heavy luggage this is a schlep. Storage room is sometimes filled to absolute brim with luggage, making retrieving yours a minor hassle.
The biggest negative for me was that there are no, count them folks - no, horizontal surfaces or shelves for putting books, glasses, stuff from pockets. This is a PITA particularly for those on the top half of a bunkbed - no comfy reading in bed and then tucking your book etc away to go to sleep. It's climb down, put your stuff where it won't be stepped on and climb back up.

The place is right on the corner of Si Ayuthhaya and Ratcha Prarop Road but two out of two cab drivers couldn't find it. The best bet if you are cabbing it from Don Muang is to get to the Ratchprarop Station on the SA City line and walk North 100 yards from there. (if you are stuck at the 10 minute light on Si Ayuthhaya and can see the overhead highway, just get out and walk the last bit - its a tough place to get to from that direction in a cab)

The photo with red arrow is taken from the platform of the Ratchprarop Station on the SA City line facing North. The white building is the Link Hostel and it has an obvious entrace on teh corner.

I like this place, it so cool and cozy and you feel like at home. It was clean, and safe and really nice. The staff is really nice and friendly and helpful too, and they put your interest at the first place. I am going to come back and I recommend this place to all travelers, especially those who prefer hostels. The guests were also nice, it was quiet and everyone was full of consideration to each other. I really liked it here and I was sad when I was leaving... The place is close to the station of SkyLink, also close to Pratunam Market and shopping centers.

I like this place mak mak. This is my third time staying. I will definitely come back for more dose. The receptionist very pretty and helpful. I am addicted to here. Clean/tidy rooms and toilets. Very accessible for travelers. Beside tailor Robin good give discount if you are staying at link corner. Lady boss always treat us lonely guests great hospitality. She often talk to us and joke with us.

Room Tip: lower floors is better for old people not like me. I am fit, i will request to stay highest floor.

I am checking out of Link Corner Hostel tomorrow and I am so excited to give it a good review, I'll just do it now. This is my first time in BK, i am a solo female traveller. This hostel truly feels like a home away from home. Firstly, most of the hostel employees live here, so it is their home and you can feel it. The place is extremely clean and well located. Easy to get anywhere from here. There is a range of different acoomodations, single rooms, double, quadruple, dorm, girls only dorm... There is a small kitchen and a fridge where you can store your food. It is a bit noisy because the street outside is so loud so light sleepers may want to have earplugs. All in all, a great place, very good bang for your buck. Anytime i come through Bangkok, this will be the place for me to stay.

Keep in mind, this is a hostel! Ifmyou want a fivenstar hotel, go to one! But as hostels go, great place.

Room Tip: There are 5 stories so you may want to see about getting a lower floor room since there are no elava...

I've stayed at Link Corner 3 times. Clean rooms and toilets, cold AC and hot showers. The staff is darling - always smiling and friendly. The hostel is right under the Ratchaprarop Airport Rail Link so it's a quick ride to BKK and one easy transfer to the BTS if you don't want to take a 10 min walk to the station.

Just FYI, there is no lift so if you have difficultly with stairs this may not be the place for you. If you are a light sleeper bring ear buds because the hostel is on a busy corner.

Thank you for your wonderful comment. :) We are really happy to have you stay with us.
Regarding to an elevator problem, we provide a storage room to the customer for keeping their luggage on the ground for which is more convenient for the customer who stays in the higher floor. We hope to welcome you in the nearest future. ^^

I stayed here for one night in my own room on the fifth floor. The hostel was clean and well decorated but there was no lift/elevator so i had to struggle carrying my luggage to the 5th floor without help from the staff. The room had a view of the street but it was too noisy at night. In addition, i could feel the bed shaking whenever big vehicles or train ran by. The hostel tried to provide good service for guests but not all staff were friendly. It was good that they thought about taxi cards written in Thai language to help foreign tourists. However, the cards for the place i wanted to go ran out and i asked one of the ladies to write it down in Thai for me but she refused to do so by saying the taxi drivers would know the place i wanted to go. I was kind of disappointed with the place and service but still rated it "average" because of its location and cleanliness.

Thank you for your review and comments.
Some of our staff members can not write Thai and that is probably where the confusion arose. However, we will put more taxi cards on the board and make sure that they will not run out.
Our establishment is a hostel. We try our best to accommodate the needs and requirements of our guests.
