Oskar’s menu is the brainchild of French Chef Julien Lavigne, a Michelin-starred restaurant collaborator. His creations display a passion for French and Mediterranean food. Diners can enjoy family-style dishes with a twist, ranging from bite-sized appetizers to hearty main courses, whether in the cozy dining room or al-fresco on the decks overlooking the vibrant Sukhumvit Soi 11. ▶︎ THIRSTY? A handpicked and affordable selection of our favorite vineyards worldwide make up our 100-bottle wine list with over 15 available by the glass. The cocktail line-up offers an extensive list of classic and signature cocktails expertly crafted by our bartenders. ▶︎ PARTY? A rotating line-up of Bangkok’s best DJs spin tunes every night. We've been to Oskar a few times for dinner and drinks. We've always been very satisfied with the food and service. Enjoy the atmosphere and mixed crowd. I recommend a visit.

“I love the oskar burger”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

This restaurant is a very nice place. Located on the middle of Sukumvit soi 11, just next to the former Bed supperclub
The venue is looking good, the staff (mostly girls) are nice and understand what you are demanding/ requesting.
Everytime I go there (once to twice a month) I order A mojito and a Oskar burger. Food is tasty, original and affordable. I also like their scandinavian salad.

“Great Food”
Reviewed October 8, 2013 via mobile

We visit Oskars each time we stay close by in Bangkok, as we find the food great, especially when looking for something non Thai.

Place is fairly small, in terms of table spaces, with probably around 16 tables, with a large bar taking prominence in the centre. However, this makes for a cosy atmosphere.

We've never made a reservation, but we tend to go early before the rush. For those heading out later > 8:30pm, would suggest booking, as it tends to fill up after that.

Menu Selection is ample and offers a very good alternative to the typical bangkok food scene at good price, with most items around 200bht and a few towards 400/500bht. Portion sizes may be slightly smaller than typical place, however quality is high, and they are easily shared.

They also have a good selection of wines by the bottle or glass. However, I would suggest they add a dessert wine to their menu, to compliment some of their amazing desserts!

Having dined here about 6 times now, over 18 months, we had the majority of items on the menu, and there's nothing we would not recommend.

Only minor point is on the service, as it varies, depending on which waitress assists. Some are happy, polite and pay attention, enquiring if you enjoyed and would like anything else, whilst some others don't talk and walk off without passing any simple conversation..

“Good Bistro!”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

Went with friends and made reservation upstairs. When arriving at 20:30 it was basically empty, but picked up over the next hours. We had 5 different starters and 5 different mains. Highlights; Duck Salad and Spaghetti Bolognese. Also had two bottles of wine, which was reasonably priced and a couple different desserts. I did not like the Tiramisu as I thought it lacked the special Marsala wine flavor. Maybe they use a substitute?

“My favourite Bangkok bar!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013 via mobile

Absolutely loved this bar! So much that in 3 nights we came back here twice. Best Tom yum ever! And great prawn mango salad! Great food, great drinks, a lot of non local crowd. Greats pretty crowded so it's nice to get a bar seat early on in the night and sit put there.
