Baan Noppawong is a new, small hotel. It is actually more of a bed and breakfast located in the Old City, Bangkok. This hotel is one block off a main street and can be a bit difficult to find but the owners were very helpful and had us tell the taxi driver to call for specific directions. The hotel is convenient for most of the major sightseeing in the Old City (e.g. Grand Palace, Wat Po, Arun Wat, etc.) The hotel rooms are a bit small but functional and clean. It is actually an old house converted into the hotel/B & B. Breakfast is served on the back patio between 8-10 am. The neighborhood does have limited restaurant choices but other upscale restaurants (e.g. The Deck) are a $2 taxi ride away. The staff/owners were very friendly and always willing to help.

The hotel is located conveniently close to the city's center/ heart and shopping districts of Bangkok. I've got a reasonable rate plus the room is clean and well-decorated.

Summary: good location, reasonable rates, clean rooms, nice services and great food !!
