That day, my mom had a fall during her travel and upon arriving Novotel, we had sought for medical assistance for her swollen feet. The check-in staff, Jah immediately engaged the in-house nurse to take a look. Jah stayed with us the whole time and helped with the translations from the nurse.
She also put a note into the system and informed the whole Novotel team of our problem, and to assist with whatever we requested. The housekeeping team was prompt when we asked for ice, and even the concierge was activated when we needed a basin to soak my mother's swollen feet. Everyone was kind and prompt with our needs. Subsequently on the 2nd day, we had requested again for the nurse to take a look at my mom's condition. Although we did not request for a translator, Jah took it upon herself to follow the nurse and to understand and check on my mother. The genuine looks of concerns from both the nurse and Jah took us by surprised and we were very touched.
Although her condition was better, we decided to depart 1 day earlier than scheduled, and Jah was also very apologetic when we checked out, when she informed that due to the promotional rate, there was no refund to be made to our early check-out.
