We were really pleased with our booking. direct link to BTS skytrain was very helpful and this alone is a great reason to stay. The hotel itself was excellent, helping manage our luggage which had missed a connection, we had a great room near the top of the hotel which was airy and spacious (fantastic aircon which is a must in Bangkok) and a great pool/bar area with great value food and drink. Highly recommended...

We enjoyed our stay very much. Top notch service all around. Kris at the tour desk helped us book a private day trip to Ayutthaya for a reasonable price. He suggested attractions we should visit and was very informative. The concierge staff was excellent in getting us taxi services to where we wanted to go and to the airport. Breakfast buffet offers a good selection and was seated right away. Loved the easy access from the 3rd floor to the BTS Skytrain, 1 minute wallk. FamilyMart and 7Eleven are minutes away by walking. Highly recommend this hotel, would stay again.

Everything was perfect, staff, food, facilities. The only minor (and I'm being picky) flaw are the rooms which we found a bit boring and more suited to a casual business hotel. The rest succeeded our expectations.

It’s difficult to know where to start with a review for the Eastin Grand Sathorn, its all so good. From the greeting at the front door to the warm welcome in to your room, the warmth and friendliness of the staff couldn’t have been better. The room (we were on the 28th floor) was exceptional: with every detail catered for. The views down on to the hubbub of bustling Bangkok were incredible (top tip - plan plenty of time for leisurely bathing as the panoramic vista from our room’s bath-tub was to die for!). We had lunch at the renowned Blunos restaurant on our first day - two words: simply delicious. Booking a table here during your stay is a must. Conveniently situated next to the infinity pool on the 15th floor makes the transition from lazy-lunch to sun-lounger an easy option. We had use of the fabulous executive lounge which I can’t recommend highly enough. The facilities there were excellent, as were the breakfasts and evening drinks. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had a busy schedule when in Bangkok: visiting Chatuchak Market, Chinatown, and other cultural delights. Having the calm, cool comforts of the Eastin Grand to return to each evening was wonderful. (Important note: the hotel is connected to the SkyTrain (Bangkok’s metro) via a covered walkway - a 3 minute walk - making it one of the most convenient locations to stay in for ease of access to this huge city). I think one of the key differences between the Eastin Grand and other excellent hotels of the same 5* calibre is that they really do care. I genuinely felt that the enjoyment and satisfaction of our stay was of the utmost importance to all of the staff that looked after us whilst we were there. (.... If only the Eastin Grand provided a training programme for husbands and daughters too!). Thank you very much for making our visit to Bangkok such a memorable one.

After staying at Lebua Tower Suite last year we decided to give this hotel a go as looking at other reviews and the prices advertised by this hotel it seemed to be on a par.

Upon entering the lobby this hotel seemed very impressive, check in was efficient, although we were disappointed that although I had booked two rooms, a double for us and a twin for our teenager and 10 year old, the rooms were at opposite ends of the corridor, albeit on the same floor.

The rooms have a more corporate feel about them than others we have stayed in whilst in Bangkok, might be geared more towards business men than tourists.

We upgraded our package to include breakfast and evening canapés and drinks in the executive lounge. The first morning we ate in the main restaurant which was quite chaiotic, with lots of Chinese tourists? The breakfast range is geared towards these so dim sum, stir fry and noodles is the main event. The coffee from the machines was not bad, we opted for some fruit and pastries as not much else for our taste.

We visited the executive lounge during the evening and I think this was the highlight of our stay, lovely canapés including fresh sushi and red wine topped up as much as you liked so good value for money.

All in all if you want a treat and to stay in this part of Bangkok then stay at Lebua as you definitely get more of a five star hotel feel than staying here.
