This is a great new hotel in Bangkok! It's located in a great area (Siam area) with many shopping options just a short walk away. Also there is the "national stadium"metro station only one minute walk from the hotel and it is maybe 10 minutes walking to the "Siam" stop. The MBK mall across the street has tons of shopping and a great food court with many different selections. Just an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel is the Jim Thompson silk house which I think is a must see when visiting Bangkok. The hotel itself has a very fresh, clean and modern feel. The front desk staff is excellent in explaining everything you need to know, from hotel information to near by attractions. They were all very friendly and welcoming. My room was nice and had great air conditioning (a must in Thailand!), a very comfortable bed and lots of pillows(soft&firm). Also there was a safe in the closet and good size bathroom with a huge shower. Two great benefits of staying at Holiday Inn Express's is the free wifi and breakfast. The wifi in my room had great signal, no problems, also there was 2 free computers to use in the lobby. The breakfast was also very good with a wide variety of choices(American & Asian). The breakfast room was very cool with lots of seating. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam and I wish I stayed longer. Would definitely recommend this hotel to all travellers!

i was not very happy with this hotel. the pillows were smelly.. asked to changed for new one for all our pillows. i could find some hairs on the bath towel. Staff was friendly and helpful. no bath tub nor spa in the hotel. nearby there were 2 thai massage.

Excellent is good, 5-8mins walk to mbk n siam paragon however, most of the taxi drivers duno this hotel.. it was kinda painful to communicate with the local taxi drivers whom duno this hotel, especially night time.. we were driven to holiday inn silom instead.

breakfast was ok, not many varieties, repeating stuff everyday..if u're staying more than 4 days, u would be sure tired of e same foods everyday.

Although I got excellent rate, was not very happy with the hotel. Check in check out took little longer than usual. Breakfast was good. Cleanliness was the deal breaker! Both room and bathroom was dirty. Staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent location

Walking distance to MBK and also train station, nice rooms & comfortable size, nice and simple breakfast. Free internet access was excellent. I'm there with my hubby and a 10yrs old daugther and the only disappointment was there was no kingbed and no swimming pool for my girl to enjoy.

We only stayed for 2 nights, but in that time experienced a great hotel. The only thing i would have to complain about is the buffet breakfast, there isn't much variety and some of it didn't taste very nice.

Hotel is within walking distance to MKK shopping centre. Not the regular hotel where basic necessities like tooth brush, shower cap is readily available in the room. You need to request for these at the reception. For breakfast, is very simple spread and they serve the same everyday. Breads, Danish, scramble eggs, fried rice and the best is their porridge. Like the idea that you have the option to dine in or grab and go. They provide disposable cups etc. They do not require your room number as anybody can just walk in and help themselves to the breakfast. Comfortable bed and nice clean bathroom. Our only complaint is that we booked for twin beds and upon check in they did arrange as per our booking and was given a queen bed which is not workable for us. After much time spend over this issue and the rationale of twin bed for us, they finally arranged for a spare bed and assure us that the next day we will be moved to twin beds for he next subsequent nights.
They did keep to their promise which we are glad. Overall is an OK hotel which most of our friends and family will recommend. I only wish they have a Spa in the hotel which I can pamper after a long day.
Taxi is easily available but be careful as on my recent visit to BKK these taxi drivers is getting notorious with fare. what they did is agree to go by meter but after a short drive away from the hotel they will request for a flat fare which is usually triple or more than the meter price. Many reason is given ... One of the Popular reason is...traffic jam ...which BKK is well known. So to us is nothing new to us. What we did was negotiate and compromise midway of his said price or his option is to send us back to the hotel where he pick us up.

Room Tip: Plenty of touting around popular tourist attractions. Also, visiting the famous Emerald Buddha Templ...

We arrived to the hotel at about 10:30 am and as expected, the room wasn't ready yet. The reception politely advise us the policy of check-in timing was at 2 however, they will tr their best to give the room to us as soon as possible. We left our luggage with the reception and headed towards their restaurant (just next to the reception area). Menu offered in the resto were more of Malaysian, Thai cuisine. We ordered the Penang Char kueytiew and the crispy pork. Food was ok, but not that great. After 30 is, the key to the room has been handed over to me. The hotel is just 2 mins walk to BTS National Stadium station, just across the MBK mall. So I would say, it's a very accessible area. The rooms were clean and I love the hall to the rooms. Lighting were very good as well. The reception offers free Internet and printing service if you do not have your laptop. Otherwise a free wifi connection will be provided as well on arrival. Room service is also available, but its not owned by the hotel. so you need to pay them cash upon delivery to the room. dont expect the usual room service plating as well, as it will be delivered to your door on a take away box. Overall, the hotel was good, recommended for a day trip or 1 night stay. Oops, before I forgot, the taxi fare from the hotel to airport will cost you thb 300.00 excluding the tolls.

Room Tip: Smoking or non smoking rooms are available upon request.
