This hotel is slightly out of the way but easy to get to via the metro. It's situated down an alleyway in Ratchada 13. It's a very comfortable hotel and very clean. if you stay here ask for a room at the bacl close to the top. the views over Bangkok in the evening are amazing. Recommended.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel back in March after booking this hotel on www.booking.com but when we actually arrived at the hotel, we found out from the receptionist that the hotel walk in rates were cheaper than the online rates. The receptionist however was not very helpful and didn't entertain our requests to cancel the online booking (which was not paid yet online) and pay base on the walk in rates. We were contemplating to just walk out of the hotel but it was already very late by then so we just paid based on the online rates in the end.
Overall, the hotel is decent and clean and there are a few stalls just outside the street. The MRT station is a 10 min walk from the hotel.

I have some difficulty reviewing this place, because there are vastly different reviews here (from bad to good).....and really all of them are true and a good attempt to analyze the entire living situation at this location. I have stayed here a few times over an extended period, maybe a total of just over 60 days.....both long term and daily. The rooms are basic and clean......and at a lower cost for a location which is a quick walk to the MRT. However, if you cannot speak passable Thai and cannot navigate the Thai "style", perhaps this place is not for you. Sometimes when you try to save money, but are not the type of person who can live in a Thai neighborhood, you make a big, uncomfortable mistake. I think that accounts for some of the negative commentary here. The young girls who work in the office are certainly not "professional" hotel reception workers. They are minimum wage earners who have little education and certainly no education in dealing with European and American customers in a hotel setting. Yes, they are like little girls playing with their smart phones, sending "Line" to their friends, while you are standing there getting angry. They could not care less that you are standing there.....they don't know what you want and only speak Thai.....so, they hope you will walk away.....and that is the deal on that. If you can communicate in Thai, they will gladly leave a message for the manager who is sometimes (not often) there in the day time and can speak reasonable English. If you need assistance at night, you are screwed and that is the only way to put it. The hotel's main customer base is Thai and other Asians who are staying more than one in a room and enjoying the low price. These customers are in their 20's for the most part and some can be noisy when returning from a night out in BKK.....if you can't deal with that, don't stay here because as mentioned the design of the place allows noise to travel throughout the "atrium". The wifi can be tough at times, it dumps your connection repeatedly. If this annoys you, don't stay here. The A/C works good, the rooms are clean as long as you keep them that way and the location good. Bottom line is if you can't "rough it" a bit.....don't stay here as you can drive yourself crazy with the little things that happen here regularly.....and no one to complain to amplifies the situation for some. On the positive side, they are an honest bunch, calculating electric and water rates fairly if you are a long term customer. Also, some decent street food right in front of the place in addition to a plethora of 7/11's.

The rooms are lighty, spacious and with good new furniture. It's clean in general terms, at least they make the beds everyday.

It's close to the metro station, but nothing really interesting is around it. Supermarkets and cheap Thai restaurants are also available just in front.

BUT, the staff is terrible. The are absolutely incompetent, not only because their poor English, but also because their not-profesional attitude. They will try to avoid any conversation, it looks like the only interesting thing for them are their cell phones.

This hotel doesn't have twin beds, only double ones, just in case you want to go with a friend.

Only one Internet connection is provided per room, no exceptions, only only one device can be connected.

Room Tip: Just because the staff, I wouldn't suggest a room here.

Average Hotel, bought via booking.com . It was mentioned they give the best rates but the rates at hotel were cheaper. Since we only booked via booking.com & didn't pay, we asked if they could take our new check ins, but they weren't able to help as they can't speak English well. Bedsheets are old, curtains too. Wifi keeps disconnecting every few minutes and there's no English channels on TV except news. Before arriving the staff was helpful in replying our emails promptly, that and the fact there's food along the street to this hotel is the only plus factor of staying here.

Room Tip: There's no good rooms, all are the same here. Choose on the first floor as it's easier to ex...

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and really enjoyed my stay. Rooms are big in size with a nice balcony, air conditioner, refrigerator, wardrobes, television, sofa, table and attached bathroom. I paid like US$27/night which is cheap in a city like Bangkok. The hotel is located at Huai Khwang which is easily accessible by MRT, buses and taxis. It's about 20 minutes journey from the happening Bangkok i.e Silom, Sukhumvit, Patpong, Pratunam, Chatuchak market etc by MRT. The hotel is more like an apartment where you get a room and that is cleaned everyday, linens and towels are changed, toiletries are provided. It doesn't have a restaurant etc. They do provide free WiFi, although very weak but still workable. Staff is very accommodating and helpful but do not understand much of English.
This is very close to couple of SevenEleven stores, excellent street-food joints, massage parlours, nail art studios and entertainment zones. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: All the rooms are same but for a peaceful sleep ask for backside facing room on the upper floors.
