I stayed here on my trip to Thailand last year. It's very cheap, around £16 a night and the views across Bangkok's skyline are amazing (you need to ask for a room on the 8th floor). It's pretty easy to get around from here as there's a tube station 5mins away. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in a great location halfway down a well-lit soi. It's easy to get to from the MRT Huai Khwang MRT Station and also easy for taxis to take you to when you tell them Ratchada Soi 13. There are a number of food stalls surrounding the hotel, there's a great laundry lady just across the street, 7/11s and pharmacys are nearby too. Just watch out for lots of motorcycles.

Also, free parking is a plus if you have a car. As far as the room itself, the internet speed wasn't anything to brag about. The bedding wasn't always clean. But, it did have an in-room safe, a couch, and a table. I've thought about staying there again just because I loved the location so much.

Room tip: Get a room facing away from the street.

It is my first time staying as this apartment and i have find that this apartmentl is very good. The room is big, clean and comfortable to stay at. The air-con in the room is also strong and does not have a smell of cigarettes as all their room is a non-smoking room. If you are a smoker, then the only place that you can smoke at is their balcony. There is a sheltered carpark on the ground level of the apartment and it is 24 hour guarded. The location of the apartment is also very good, not on the main road so it is quiet to stay in but not too far away from the main road too, with roughly a 3 minutes walk, you will get to the main road which is right opposite a haunted theme shopping mall name Mansion 7. I have also find that the price for walk in for this apartment is cheaper than most of the hotel booking website but have to pay in cash as they don't accept any card. For someone who like to stay in Huai Kwang area and want to look for a cheap room with basic amenities and basic hotel service, this is the place to go to.

This place could be really good with just a little more atention to detail.
Its not really a Western style hotel, or rather a hotel that Westerners would expect. Its a little different in that it really seems to be aimed at longer term stays and is more like a serviced apartment type idea.. The hotel looks nothing special from the outside and and the reception area isnt too welcoming. Once inside though its very nice and the rooms are all accesed via the open internal lobby or hall which spans all the way up to the top floor. Initially i thought that it would be noisy due to this but inside the hotel was very quiet and the water feature in t he centre was very relaxing. The hotel is in a busy Soi so there was some noise from outside but nothing too much to cope with. The room was comfortable and clean but basic with a fridge and TV. It lacked things like fresh soap daily and water which i had to ask for each day.
The hotel is in a good location about 10 min walk from Huay Kwang BTS. It has a 7/11 just outside and a variety of cheap but good eating places just outside.
It was good value as i was trying to do things cheap but without roughing it.
Iev stayed in better places but all in all it was a good experience and i felt like i was more in the local community than in some tourist trap. If you wanted to to the busy entertainment areas it was easy from the BTS or via taxi

Room tip: Away from the front of the hotel as its quiet at the back being away from the road
