Edited as Trip adviser suggested:
Me and our family members recently visited this hotel, and needless to say that we were utterly disappointed. When we first arrived at this hotel, one of the porters started behaving very aggresively towards us without a reason. We were totally surprised as we just stepped into the hotel. But later on we understood that was because we happened to be sri lankans. These porters must have had a bad experience with one of ours or may be but now they treat all people from other Asian countries as such people in the same manner that needed to be treated hard. They were accompanied by the receptionist all the time who eventually shouted at us, just because we asked for asking kettles for our rooms which they have advertised as compliments to our rooms.
1) Another major issue that we noted was, even though this particular hotel was advertised as a three stars hotel, this can never be even compared to a one star hotel which can be found in our country (i.e. Sri Lanka.).
2)They have listed down a set of compliments that come with the room type, for ex: hair dryers and kettles for deluxe rooms but we never even get them or neither the staff was willing to give them even we asked.
3)Not only that but the basic necessities such as soap and shampoo were not provided for us. When we request only they come up with one little soap bar.
4)One of the most dangerous and important thing to remember if you happened to stay in this hotel even by some tragic situation, then always be very specific about what they have provided for you and inform a list of things you receive when you arrived at the hotel. Because later on when you check out the receptionist will try to bill for items that were never in your room but He/she will insist that those items were there.
5)The other most tiresome thing was the breakfast that they provide. We had to stay there for 6 days due to the unavailability of rooms in other hotels, and we were provided the same breakfast each and everyday which lead us to skip the last day breakfast and have some biscuits instead.
6)The receptionists who work in shifts, will not like us asking them any questions or even assistance in going out in Bangkok. The moment you raise a question towards them (Even if it is a simple one like what is for breakfast?) they will become very rude and aggressive towards us without a reason. It's like we are staying there for free of charge and they are doing us a favor.
7)If we ask too many questions even if they have charged us for something we didn't do, then they will bring down the Thai police. In such a situation call the tourist police or the relevant embassy of your country for assistance and to stop being mugged.
We were always under Duress the whole time we stayed in Bangkok just because of the way, these people behaved and on the last day when we were about to leave the hotel to reach airport, we had an argument with the receptionist about an additional charge for a late checking out room, and this Hotel which is happened to be friendly towards it's guests acted in a manner which I don't think any Hotel who expects customers would behave such. So I basically felt it is my responsibility to share this type of exhaustive and Arbitrary experience as it would be helpful to anyone to make up their minds also in addition to preparation goods when planning a visit to Bangkok.
