The exuberance and energy of these young performers is captivating and infectious. I left this show with a face that ached from smiling!

Superb professionalism and creative production means this is a show you can see more than once and still enjoy a fantastic night out.

Some people on here have complained that its not like Vegas and while I absolutely agree, you're also not paying $100/ticket. The cost here is about $40USD/ticket to see about 20 performers (~10 men and ~10 lady boys) for about 1.5 hours. These lovely ladies lip sync to everything from top 40's to old classics while they all dance to their own choreography. It's enjoyable to see these guys enjoying themselves and their art. At the end of the show, you can take pictures with them but they expect a tip.

This is a great "labyboy" Cabaret; Price of entry also includes a drink with the show. The show itself was mostly fun energy and fun. Great to sing along to some of the songs: Awesome costumes and some funny moments. The show is located at the Asia hotel; really easy to get there from the skytrain as the station connects straight to the hotel. We got there a little early and had a drink in the foyer and had the opportunity to take some snaps with the entertainment. Like everywhere in Bangkok, as soon as the photo was taken the hand was produced with a polite "Little something for me Madam" to follow. We gave 20 Baht each, and they seemed okay with that.
The show got a little slower (dare I say even boring) towards the end with a lot of boy only dances.... I was after the feathers, sequins & high kicks of a lady boy show- not really a 5 min Mr Bojangles Ballet twirling! Still well presented, just not my personal preference.
The cabaret show is for everyone; there is NO sexual in your face performances that may scare off the uneducated- it is a cabaret show dancing & miming to songs. The only thing I would say about taking children, is that the music was very loud. I did notice a few kids in the audience covering their ears.
Once the show is over you are unshed out a side door running the gauntlet of the performers where you can get a picture “for a little something.” It is a fun way to spend an hour doing something different; after all isn’t that the plan when you’re on holiday?

I was completely impressed: we were only a few visitors and worried at first hand. BUT then we saw one of the unadulterated shows with Ladyboys ever. Of course they must still perfect the show. But each dancer danced as if he (or she) was a queen and you were the one and only to impress.
This show was genuine, sincere and inspired. Much better than the 'big' shows where you are driven to as tourist groups.
The Theatre itself is inside the Asia Hotel, a small & cozy room. And almost each couple had a tiny table where they served a drink (for free, with alcohol).

At first, when we arrived, and even when seated, there were just around 20 customers for that night, in other words, it's almost empty! A bit worried if the show is bad and unattractive. But soon after that, we were driven to a good show surprisingly. A lot of cabaret dancers and impressive background and costumes preparation with a nice song - collection! They performed professionally, every of them, transgenders ladies or boys. It was a bit pushy when the cast tried to have tips from taking pictures with the audiences, but for me, I can understand, their careers are short and they have tons of bills to pay than us. it's 1200 baht for a ticket, and I left them around 400 baht after taking photos. I still feel comfortable and acceptable. For me they deserve my respect after all the pains before, after and on the stage!
