The nicest part of this hotel was Patrick the porter. He was kind, genuine and friendly. The rest of the staff were quite good also, but unfortunately not all of the staff spoke English (room service) resulting in massive confusion when ordering food. When the food arrived, it was incorrect, and cold. When we told the staff what had happened, the staff member pretty much ignored us.

The rooms were ok and above standard, but the shower was clogged and was never fixed. The main issue I had though was the lack of things to do close by. You'd need to get the train to any of the main areas as its at the far end of sukhumvit road. Id recommend staying around Nana or Akos for a better experience. The restaurant in the hotel also didn't open in the evenings, so even if you wanted to get a late dinner there, you couldn't.

Only other issue was the school at the back of hotel that woke us every morning with the children singing and then playing. There's roughly 1000 children screaming around 8am which may not bother some people, but when you need to catch up on sleep, it can become problematic.

Room Tip: The grande centre point around nana on sukhumvit road looked much better value for money, and also h...

Dear Sir,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share feedbacks and experiences regarding your recent stayed at Viva Garden by Bliston. From your review, we realized that there were a few matters that made your stay not as pleasant as it should be. We would like to use this opportunity to apologize and explain these issues to you as follow:

- We are truly sorry about the miscommunication regarding the room service which caused by language barrier. There might be some misunderstood, but we are confident that our staff will never ignore the guests, as almost all feedbacks that we receive from other guests to our F&B staff are quite positive. By the way, your comment is important too. We have already delivered your message to our F&B Manager and training manager to recheck about this issue.

- Regarding the shower; Actually we do have maintenance schedule and our technician team are checking the room regularly, also they are standby 24/7. Should you face any trouble like this, kindly call our guest service at extension number ‘0’ and we can sent someone to check the problem promptly.

- Location; Viva Garden is located on Sukhumvit road, just a minute away from the BTS skytrain station which easily lead you to the whole Bangkok city, also close to the expressway that conveniently leads you to the airport without getting stuck in bad traffic. Yes, our location is not in the middle of touristy area like Asoke or Nana, there are no pubs and clubs nearby but some nice restaurants, spas, markets, and convenient stores can be found in walking distant. Many people preferred to stay outside the tourist areas to relax and experience the real Thai lifestyle and of course, to avoid the hustle and tourist-traps. Therefore, ‘good experience’ in term of location can be depends on each person’s preference.

- Our Baibua restaurant is opens for dine-in from 6 am to 2 pm, but room service is available until 10 pm.

- Our residence is next to the school, but there’s a sub-street and our parking space between them so the two buildings themselves aren’t that close to each other. We rarely get comment from our guests about this issue but of course, we can understand your problem. If you are a light sleepers, we suggest you to put special request when make a booking to get the room at the other side of the school. Nevertheless, if you do not satisfy with the room assigned once you checked into the room, please contact our staff and we can sort this out and change the room for you according to room availability.

Once again, the management and staff at Viva Garden would like to apologize for not meeting your expectations. Hopefully, the explanation above will make you understand us better.

Best Regards,
Viva Garden by Bliston

We have been staying in the hotels for three nights... The service was awesome. We feel like we are at home from the moment we stepped into the hotel. All the staff regardless day or night shift will greet you with a smile even from the main door securities. Specially thanks to Patrick for his friendliness and excellence service and not to forget the rest of the staff. There is only one comment from us is that we will appreciate if you can provide us with a bigger hotel map (with main landmark like beside Bang Chak BTS) in Thai. I have the small map from the hotel reception but It is very hard for us to tell the cab driver the exact location of the hotel when we took cab back after a tiring day outside. Most of the driver does not seem to know the location well and the map is too small for them. Thank you .. We will surely stay here for the next trip...

Stayed at Viva Garden, it is 3 times. The hotel staff was pleasant and greeted me as usual. Shopping at Bang chak market near the hotel, meeting with my frieds, I was able to enjoy Bangkok life. During my stay, the hotel was stuck by lightning. It is power outage for a while, hotel power supply is restored by appropriate responses. I could sleep comfortably.

I live in the north and south of Thailand. I often come to Bangkok on my way back from overseas trips or to visit friends. I prefer nice hotels in quieter places away from the crowded center, but they are still expensive. Viva Gardens is further out on Sukhumvit Road, Soi 60, yet still near to popular city center attractions by nearby BTS train or taxi. And reasonably priced. The rooms, lobby and grounds are spotlessly clean, the garden and pool area relaxing and beautifully kept. The service is outstanding. Kathy and her associates at reception and Khun Napthat, the head Bell Captain made me feel at home and cared for. I walk with hand crutches due to an injury and found the hotel to be accessible wherever I walked. Breakfast buffet was delicious and generous. The area is far more the daily life of the real Bangkok than the downtown tourist areas. The nearby Look-In Italian-Thai restaurant offers great menu dishes, a nice atmosphere and service. My one recommendation to hotel maintenance staff is to reduce the chlorine in the fantastic pool.

Room Tip: Garden view rooms show the greener side of Bangkok. Yet even the street side rooms offer a look at t...

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. It is right next to the BTS station, you just walk for less than 5 minutes from the station to the hotel. The room is spacious with a big balcony where you can see a good view of BKK. The staff are helpful! The only drawback is the long travel distance from the hotel to JTJ Weekend Market.
