Description: Seven Spoons destination restaurant promises to tickle your senses in a warm, minimalist gastrobar on the edge of Chinatown. We offer a modern cuisine menu, including Mediterranean influenced dishes and pasta, lovingly made from locally produced and organic ingredients wherever possible. We're at the corner of Jor Por Ror (JPR) and Chakkrapatipong (22-24 Chakkrapatipong Road), in a restored Chinese shophouse. We are open daily, for dinner from 6pm to 12am, and our kitchen closes at 11pm. We are open for lunch, Monday to Saturday, from 11am to 2pm.

In the old Bangkok area you find this unique discovery; the food is 'second to none' with the presentation being exquisite. A surprise to the pallet with every bite.

The atmosphere is non-intrusive with the staff being so hospitable and attentive from afar.

We appreciated our evening so much that we are mentioning to all our New Zealand friends to visit this restaurant if they travel to Bangkok.

Thank you to all at Seven Spoons

Having heard wonderful things about this place from other Canadian travellers, we decided to check Seven Spoons out. Some might find it out of the way, but for us, the chance to see (right out the big restaurant windows) real Bangkok life passing by in a lesser tourist travelled area is a real selling point. Unpretentious but with creative and high quality dishes, we will continue to be customers at Seven Spoons on future travels to Bangkok.

Arrived early just after 6pm. Had the place to ourselves until 8pm. Drank at the bar for a while before eating. Good cocktail list, beer and wine choices good too. Not outrageously expensive.

Staff were nice but could have been a bit more chatty (all spoke English perfectly). Needless to say service was instant - there was no one else there.

We were seated to dine and ordered from a nice menu - not too many dishes listed so that you know it's all fresh. We had:
Local Mushroom Fritti (greasy and tasteless)
Shrimp Taco (SUPERB combination of flavours)
Razor Clams (imported from Norway but very nice flavours and presentation)
White Snapper (cooked perfectly with a nice sauce - sublime)

By the time we left just after 8:30pm there were a few more tables seated and it is probably quite busy later. Seemed popular with European expat clients. Advise making reservations as it's not a large place.

I choosed Seven Spoons for one of my lunches on my recent trip to Bangkok. This is really a great choice for you, if you are bored with Thai cuisine. The atmosphere was cozy and so nice. The food was diversal with many choices, and all of food was so fresh and tasty. Moroccan spaghetti was for example, its so delicious. A little pricey but I felt satisfied bcz the service was so attentive and friendly. High recommend !

I found this place to have a great ambience, in its cosy confines. Delicate with subtle flavors in all the Mediterranean dishes we tried, and you could say they are delivered with Thai fusion. The menu is simple and different and I enjoyed the mango salsa shrimp starter immensely. The restaurant is located in the old part of Bangkok with lots a little shops around. There are not many tables so try to book ahead!
