Description: In May 2014 Le Petit Zinc restaurant becomes Comptoir Eiffel. This well-known restaurant appreciated par many loyal guests begins a reconversion towards more refinement and diversity while maintaining the original Parisian bistro spirit. As soon as you come through the door you can feel the warm and friendly ambience of the venue. The owner has recently taken over the three years old restaurant, and is fully dedicated to the wellness of it guests. Guests can choose among different spaces: a private room on the mezzanine, a terrace with shadow, and the main dining-room facing the bar. Wherever you seat, you can instantly feel transported to Saint Germain des Pres. Once you are comfortably settled, it's time to look at the menu. The Chef and its team honour dishes from all over France with Perigourdine salad, Half-cooked tuna and piperade, and the traditional Onion soup. And concerning fish? You will find them on skewers, in carpaccio, grilled from the oven...Meat with their tenderness will please sensitive palates, as the foie gras duo will do. In the genuine spirit of a French bistro-brasserie, duck specialties and salads are important to the menu. Cheese lovers are not forgotten thanks to a judicious selection of both French and local cheese. Finally, weekly specials from the blackboard enhance the care given to cook with fresh ingredients. Comptoir Eiffel is open every day for lunch and dinner.

Please be careful not to believe google map location when you go this restaurant. That was along with the same street, but 200m different. But anyway, staff is very kind for us, they pick us up at the corner and take us there by motosai!!! The owner is western gentlemen, who greeted us politely and seems to educate his staff well. Besides, foods and bevarage are also nice and tasty. As a result, this restaurant is suitable for couples, I think. Gentlemen, please come once before taking your dates.

It was very nice evening with two French food lovers. I've choose the chef's recommendation - not in the menu - magret de canard with fresh duck liver inside, superb!!!
My friends took carre d'agneau....also nice.
Wine excellent

Good French cooking. Front of house is controlled by the charming wife of the French couple who operate this small but very French restaurant. Starters and mains very good particularly the steaks but everything I've tried has been good, except the desserts. Will return but would give the desserts a miss. Don't know if it's hard to get the ingredients but although it all looks like French desserts something is lacking in the taste.

We initially explored via the use of Groupon voucher and. amazingly unlike some places, they did not scrimp on either the quality or the menu options. This indicated to us that they have real pride in what they offer and want to encourage people to visit their restaurant.
The food is well presented, and meats were succulent. Vegetables cooked just perfectly. The hostess really charming. Try the slow cooked lamb shank with cous cous.... this was"real melt in your mouth food". The desserts are fab! We will definitely be back.

A nice change after all the oriental meals one gets in Asia. Decent French brasserie food, as if in Paris. They actually maintain French standards! Remarkable experience, all 6 of us were very happy with the quality of our meal.
