Description: In May 2014 Le Petit Zinc restaurant becomes Comptoir Eiffel. This well-known restaurant appreciated par many loyal guests begins a reconversion towards more refinement and diversity while maintaining the original Parisian bistro spirit. As soon as you come through the door you can feel the warm and friendly ambience of the venue. The owner has recently taken over the three years old restaurant, and is fully dedicated to the wellness of it guests. Guests can choose among different spaces: a private room on the mezzanine, a terrace with shadow, and the main dining-room facing the bar. Wherever you seat, you can instantly feel transported to Saint Germain des Pres. Once you are comfortably settled, it's time to look at the menu. The Chef and its team honour dishes from all over France with Perigourdine salad, Half-cooked tuna and piperade, and the traditional Onion soup. And concerning fish? You will find them on skewers, in carpaccio, grilled from the oven...Meat with their tenderness will please sensitive palates, as the foie gras duo will do. In the genuine spirit of a French bistro-brasserie, duck specialties and salads are important to the menu. Cheese lovers are not forgotten thanks to a judicious selection of both French and local cheese. Finally, weekly specials from the blackboard enhance the care given to cook with fresh ingredients. Comptoir Eiffel is open every day for lunch and dinner.

A GREAT French restaurant in Bangkok. Going here made me realize after 3 months living in Bangkok that this city truly has everything! The wine was reasonably priced, which can be hard to come by here, and the food was excellent. My favourite was the dessert - one of the best Tarte Tatins I've ever had. The service was also fantastic, with both the server and the owner of the restaurant coming by frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

“Friendly neighborhood French restaurant”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

Le Petit Zinc is your casual neighborhood joint for French food in Asoke area, Bangkok. The wine selection is reasonably priced and the food selection features seasonal specials that together with the regular menus is more choice then you could ask for. There is always a French national at hand to explain the specials, and the Thai staff is friendly and efficient. The presentation of the food is pleasant and so is the quality. I am coming back regularly for my beef tartar or foie gras. The deserts look very temping as well.
There is nothing to complain about and that is why I keep coming back.

We always go to this restaurant each time we visit Bangkok, love the beef cheek salad they made, a must try, a very nice friendly owner and the waitress also very nice, food price is reasonable and we always have the full set menu to order from appetizer to desserts, and always leaving the restaurant happy because of the delicious food we had there... And we definitely will come back over and over again here...

“Petit Zinc is a precious gem!”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

My husband and I have gone to Petit Zinc many times since it opened near our home. This little French bistro is really precious. The set lunch menu consists of French favorites and the desserts are great, especially the mango cheesecake. Petit Zinc also hosts cocktail parties, wine tastings and other functions during the week. Muriel and Tomas are a very charming couple. They have been so successful that they recently opened another branch in Satthorn.
