After being spoiled by the luxury of another Bangkok hotel (we had to move out as we had decided to stay another day in Bangkok, but there wasn't any room at that inn), we were disappointed in this place. The rooms are tired with lots of wear and tear: odd and loose tape on the extremely noisy aircon, scratched surfaces, old fashioned furniture, 80s styled bathroom. The lobby oddly smelled of moth repellant. Staff were not switched on and not so happy to help, the GM was a nice guy though. The small gym was exactly that, it had a some cardio and weight equipment. In a city of so many hotels, you really need to put in a huge effort to get four stars on TA, let alone five. This place is a renovation away from being on the next level.

This hotel was great, very clean and tidy with a moderately sized room which is more than adequate for the money you pay. This hotel provided the perfect stopover for one night before heading out to Koh Tao the next day. If you want more luxury and want to stay somewhere for a few more days, you can probably find a few alternatives for almost double the price, but for a one night stay this was perfect.

p.s. The bed was without a doubt the biggest I've ever slept in (I'm 6ft5 for reference!)

I stayed in this hotel for a few days. The hotel is modern and nice looking and staff are friendly. However, the sound proofing isn't great and at the time of my stay they were doing some works outside and it was very difficult to sleep. Even without the works, the noise from the street is quite loud and in the lower floors is difficult to sleep.
The location is very good, close to the main areas of Bangkok.
