We stayed at the LIT for 3 nights on our first trip to Thailand.

As we had a flight that landed in to Bangkok late in the evening and being a new country to us we arranged an airport transfer with the hotel. This cost approx. 1400 THB. Although our flight was on time the queue and delays for immigration took hours, once we did get through the hotel rep was easy to fine and they took us straight to our car which was cool, comfy and had chilled water.

Upon arrival at the hotel we were warmly greeted and check in with efficient and the staff very courteous. I had requested a high floor and we were given one!
I loved the quirky room layout - so clever! It really utilised the space to its maximum potential and we just enjoyed being in the room.
Yes if your not that familiar with your companion the curtain for the door to the toilet may be awkward but it didn't bother us!

You received complimentary bottled water, a daily allowance for the mini bar and free wi-fi (which was quick). The beds were comfy and the shower powerful. (Although be prepared for the steam to engulf the room!)

Breakfast was good, ok you don't have the huge buffet sprawl you get a the boring chains but you get a good fresh choice.
A selection of fresh juices, breads/ pastries and condiments, cooked selection to order (I enjoyed the eggs Benedict one morning) plus the Asian choices and fruit. The staff were so nice in here!

The great thing about this hotel is not only is it very good the location was perfect for us.
Down a side street (soi) with food stalls but away from hustle/ bustle noise. It's just a 2 min walk from BTS which if you haven't been to Bangkok is by far the most convenient way to get around. (Fast, cheap, easy to navigate).
You are also walking distance to MBK and all the other shops around.

When we left we got a taxi to DMK airport, this cost around 600 THB.

Overall I will recommend this hotel to all my friends/ family as we couldn't find fault.
Great stay and it was nice to stay somewhere a little different without having to compromise on location, service etc!

Room Tip: Remember their is only a curtain to the toilet!

The LIT is conveniently located for the best of Bangkok's retail. Public transport is also at your door step. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor bar and restaurant. The rooms are unconventional in their layout but this gives the hotel a memorable point of difference. I recommend the LIT to others and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The Lit is a very comfortable hotel in the heart of Bangkok's shopping district – if you plan on hitting the shops in Bangkok, this is the place to stay!

It has the best of both worlds being in easy walking distance to all the major shopping malls & the BTS National Stadium station, but set back down a quiet street where you could absolutely forget you are in the heart of the Bangkok madness!

We stayed in an Extra Radiance Room for 3 nights and slept like a dream in the large & comfortable bed. The room design was a very stylish grey & yellow with fun ‘mood’ colour lighting (optional if you don’t like it) in the bathroom area, which is ‘zoned’ off from the rest of the room by a curtain.

We had read a lot of comments on TripAdvisor that the toilet is not very private – rest assured it is in a separate space with walls & a door made of thick frosted glass and there is a separate shower space too. Both these rooms are very small and I guess it might feel a little exposed if you didn’t know the person you were travelling with that well, but that goes for most hotel bathrooms!

The breakfast at the Lit is outstanding with a wonderful array of eastern & western options, a buffet with hot and cold options and items to order, delicious juices, all beautifully presented – really sets you up for a long day on your feet!

A complementary foot massage went down a treat and the swimming pool was a godsend after a day of sightseeing in the Bangkok heat.

The Lit isn’t the cheapest of options in Bangkok, but it feels worth it for the level of comfort, amazing location and the excellent service you get from the very friendly & professional staff.

You can also get good deals online via the website.

Would definitely stay here again!

We arrived here after a long flight and were greeted by really welcoming and friendly staff. It was the first night of our honeymoon and they upgraded us and gave us a "Love Bath" which was a bath with champagne and chocolates. The room was funky and interesting layout/ design, and most importantly very clean. You got a free amount to spend on the mini bar each day and it was a great nights sleep with big comfortable bed. There was a pool and a really decent gym with someone there who brought us a drink whilst briefly on the machines! We also got a free 10 minute foot massage. The location was perfect, close to MBK and Siam Center, lots of tuk tuks and taxis around to make getting places accessible and easy. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great, service and staff again very pleasant and helpful - giving us tips on where to go to drink that night. You could sit outside to eat like we did, the hotel is in a lively part of the city but down a quiet street so when we ate/ drank at the restaurant outside (you can also eat inside) it felt relaxing yet you could hear all the chaos of the city! The set up was really nice. We also had breakfast included and it was the most amazing breakfast - so many different options. The Sky Bar is a walkable distance or you can get a tuk tuk there for 50 baht. There is a really good place to get thailand gifts for cheap near by, when you walk out the hotel take a right then its down one of the streets on your right (you can ask someone). We bought a few things but wish we had got more now as it was so much cheaper than other places with a greater variety of gifts/ souvenirs. On the way back we stayed in a different hotel for a little bit cheaper but this just made us appreciate this place even more. It it worth paying the extra for such a great hotel. To top off our amazing time here, when we left they gave us a glass of champagne! The hotel is not a sky scraper like a lot of others, and the smaller feel really adds to the atmosphere and feel of the place. I cant praise this place enough, we would love to go back!!

The hotel was really comfortable, well located next to the main overground tram system and close to some of the main shopping centres in Bangkok. The service provided by the staff was second to none, especially the concierge who spent over an hour with us helping us arrange to get our hire car back, that wasn't even booked through the hotel. Breakfast was really good with a differing variety every morning
