“Great price, hospitality, room & location!”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

This is my first post which the Lit! hotel made me a must to post. We are very satisfied with the big room and especially the hotel service at all stations. Meticulous, friendly & attentive. Never fail to greet you everytime. They provide as of top 5 stars hotel level of needs and style, with trendy cosy lounge and lobby with coffee machine. There was once we were figuring the machine as it did not dispense coffee and the attentive bell boy ran towards us to assist. Superb service! Though situated at an alley that may seems dangerous at night, but along the path are other inns and hotels with cafes and restaurants open late night, so it is not as quiet yet the hotel is away from city noises, yet just 2mins walk to siam discovery and siam center. And across the convenient overhead bridge link to MBK.

The only slight minus point is the booking system. As it was a last minute trip decision between Bangkok or Bali, it was inconvenient when I reliazed i had to wait within 24hours on the confirmation if i secured a room online. Most cases, you select date and duration, the online booking is live & fixed upon online payment. i am not sure if this was due to peak period. But unless you have time, i don't suggest last minute booking to avoid being in a spot of not able to resort alternative in short time.

Overall, fantastic hotel adding the price into consideration! I stayed in the Extra Radiance room, and for the rate, the size and huge bathtub is not what you can get from other hotels. Plus complimentary thb111 per night at minibar as well as mocktail at the hotel's bar, everything is so welcoming! I will definitely stay at Lit! again if i visit Bangkok next time.

Clean and hospitable. In a city I generally like to avoid, I was happy to take refuge from the seedy underbelly in this hotel. It had everything I needed to enjoy my visit.

If I had to find any fault, it would be that it appeared to be a little understaffed.

Stayed in one of the Different Degree rooms, room was compact and cleverly designed to fit everything and enough space for your travel bags. Breakfast was nice and staff service excellent. The hotel is strategically located in an alley, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet only a 2 minutes walk away from the National Stadium BTS. The BTS is also right opposite the MBK mall that is famous for its local food court.

There are several food stalls on the way to the BTS. We tried some pork noodles by the road side for 200baht, which turned out to be the best food we've had on the entire trip! However, do let them know if you can't take spicy!

Love their 111baht minibar credit a day concept and there's free nespresso at the lobby every morning. All in all, great location, good value for money, would definitely be back to try their other rooms on the next trip!

Coming to the end of a 3 week long business trip across Asia Pacific, I just wanted to go home. Until I stepped in to the LIT Hotel. The angled rooms give you a new dimension, if you'll pardon the pun, of hotel living. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the 111 THB allowance from the mini bar each day extremely welcome.

Despite its fantastic location for shopping malls and the Skytrain, the pricing is very aggressive, and as it is in a side alley, you are sheltered from all the hustle and bustle of the city.

The breakfast buffet is nice, but better than this is the restaurant for the evening meal. Being a man of habit, I go for the curry every time, and the restaurant overlooking the pool area offers an exceptional one.

The service at front desk and throughout the hotel is without fault - all staff are well trained, well groomed, and well mannered. They are always happy to help.

Oh - and there is a Nespresso machine in the foyer. That was weird for me, but only because I like good coffee. But it is another example of just how different this hotel is.

The LIT is my hotel of choice for Bangkok - after all, when you find a place as good as this, you don't need to go looking any more!

Room Tip: All rooms are fantastic, no matter which one you go for.

More intimate comparing to big hotels of Bangkok and in an quiet street yet very close to the city metro. Excellent, helpful staff especially Noochy on the front desk who advised and organised things for us most efficiently. Lovely pool ouside and the terrace with cool drinks and tasty snacks/meals if you did not feel like going to look further afield ( not cheap though).
