Recommended length of visit: More than 3 hours
Owner description: Please email or call to reserve before you come down to our office. If you are looking for an authentic Thai thing to do, our canal tour is the one! Because boats on canals were used as transport traditionally, many interesting sites are along the water way. Our tour stops at: Morning Fresh Produce Market(Weekend altered with a canal-side floating market), Orchid Nursery in Green Rush, Hidden Forest Temple, Traditional Thai House (the Artist's House). We can also arrange custom tours around water ways.

An excellent tour by small boat around the backwater canals of Bangkok. The boat operator/guide speaks excellent English (several years in USA helps). The only downside was the seats were a bit hard towards the end, but then we are both closer to 70 than 60 and that may have had something to do with that.

Thank you for reviewing our tour!!!
We are glad to hear from you again.
It is a good point about the seat. We do have some pillows we can offer...
We hope to see you guys again in Bangkok in the near future!

Best regards,
Tom

Dear Tom
Thank you so much for the two most amazing days we could have imagined. We had not been to Bangkok before but knew we wanted to explore Thailand from the eyes of a non typical tourist. You delivered that and more. The day on the canal was a journey into another time and place rich in culture history food and local festivities. Your historical knowledge added the icing to the cake. When our amazing day ended we never thought you could top our day but indeed you did. Day two and the trip to the train market was even more amazing. What an incredible experience again we were pinching ourselves as you delivered us to a world we would have never experienced had we not found you. The floating market was another pinch me am I really here moment followed by the excursion to the lake local temple and the most amazing lunch ever. Thank you for two days that we will never forget. You rocked our world.

Thank you Cheryl for the great review of your two days with us, It was fun for me to take you guys around Bangkok. I just hope more people from LA would be traveling here to Thailand, and enjoy what this country have to offer. Being from LA myself (27 Freeway years) it is great to hear from fellow Angelino.

This is a side of Bangkok you wouldn't see without a tour guide!

Tom was a fantastic guide, very friendly, speaks fluent English, knowledgeable about Thai History, we had a great day!

It was a relaxing day, the tour is flexible so you can stop at places that interest you which is great. We saw some temples, floating market for lunch, Thai puppet show, orchid farm, cruised around the canals with some cold beers taking in the scenery. Great food, good company, highly recommend!

( go on the weekend if you can when the market is in full swing)

Took the tour earlier today and can recommend it. Tom, the guide, is informative and flexible. It's a good balance between stretches in the boat and visits to on shore sights. I particularly enjoyed it because it shows a gentler, less frenetic, side to Bangkok life that Tom informed me is fast disappearing. See it while you can!

We have been to BKK a few times now and wanted to do something different off the beaten track and couldn't have chosen better.

We met Tom at the BTS meeting spot which was easy and convenient. The tour was full of history and culture and a great way to see a side of Bangkok that you could not see any other way. Tom even took us into one of the Teak houses where his friend's father lives - what a treat!

If you are looking for something a bit different you would be hard pressed to find a better way to spend a day in Bangkok.
