“Great place with an even better staff”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

This was was amazing. We stayed here for a week in August of 2012 so this review has been due for quite some time. We were in a two bedroom timeshare and I'd have to stay it was a very nice setup. The staff was amazing, my mom had to go to the hospital one day while I wasn't at the hotel but they called the hospital and made sure she was ok. They even sent flowers up to the room when she came back. They were so helpful with directions and anything that we needed.
The place with located more ina business area but it was close enough to the skytrain station. There is a little market and plaza close by so we could stock up for refrigerator. It was definitely nice to have a washer and dryer too. Overall this place really made my stay in Bangkok. Thank you so much to the staff!

Loved the 1 bedroom apartment, although not the hotel facilities you would expect. You can enjoy comfort, light, clean and spacious living which suits long term or short term travel perfectly. Property staff very obliging and informed for any requests or arrangements you wish to make.

Large pool and sun deck with nice surroundings although in the middle of the business district so not really a poolside vacation spot.

Great supermarket walking distance in small shopping complex with spa and various restaurants. A good walk to the sky train and various other transport options available for your convenience. The kitchens are well equipped if you want to cook but note there is no restaurant on site and restaurants seem to close earlier in the evening than you would expect in a tourist area. Reception are able to offer solutions for deliveries and/or menus.

Really enjoyed my stay here.

First time staying at a Marriott Vacation Club, This is more like a small apartment with a small kitchen w/washer-dryer. The rooms are quite large, the master suite is similar to a master suite in a home. The only thing lacking is a large closet space, but more than adequate for a vacation. I would compare it to a Residence Inn, but larger and better furnished.
The hotel is located less than 50 yds from two of the main Bangkok commuter rail systems. One is the BTS-Skytrain, which can get you pretty close to most of the areas you would want to visit in Bangkok. You will find that the Skytrain will get you there faster than a taxi, as the traffic can be horrendous during rush hour. I purchase a one-day pass on the BTS for approx $4
There are many food vendors on the streets where you can get breakfast style or lunch very cheap, for about $2-3 dollars. Only one major restaurant just south of the hotel, called Sara-Jane. Just past Sara-Jane is a small modern shopping mall, with a decent market, City Vive, for stocking up on food.
If taking a taxi, have the hotel staff arrange of one, and have them give your destination to the taxi driver. They will confirm that the taxi driver knows where you want to go, and confirm the approximate cost for the fare ride.

Unfortunately no restaurant or Bar but plenty of eating places within walking distance,, Reception staff were excellent and could not do enough to help. Nice Place to stay,, Highly recommended.

We stayed at 1-bedroom unit for a week in Sept-Oct. We found it to be quite spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked including a small stove, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and coffee maker. There was even a rice cooker! There was a gourmet market called City Vive within walking distance... Perfect for fresh fruits & bread, wines, cheese and meats, etc. We loved the fact that the housekeeping service was provided every day. We read about others complaining about the service at MVC, but we found everyone to be courteous and helpful. Not only the people in the mgmt office but down to the security people were nice and always ready to assist. The swimming pool and the gym are nicely kept. Would love the water temperature slighter higher in the pool and jacuzzi.

Stayed with friends in private pool villa two bedrooms. Rooms are very clean and very well equiped. Everything you need for a long stay in there. Service is good but can be improved a bit... breakfast is not bad but the restaurant is quite small.. due to the rain we had to eat indoor. Many activities. Very good kids club with many games. Area and pool very well maintained and clean and nice design... overall I liked my stay there. Will reccomend to all.
