Like some other reviewers we stayed here for 2 nights as part of a package deal and had fairly low expectations. Location - The hotel is not right in the middle of the shopping district but there is a subway stop pretty much next door and taxis are dirt cheap anyway. I think it was $2 (60 thb) to get from MBK to the hotel. There are a few 7-11 shops a short walk away. The only issue we had was a lot of taxi drivers and a tour company didn't know where the hotel was (because it is new) so take a hotel card with you so you have the address in Thai. Hotel is also only a short walk to Lumpini park, and opposite the Muay Thai stadium. Service - We have stayed at quite a few 5 star hotels, and this was the best service we have experienced so far. The staff are extremely attentive, and helpful without being overbearing. We were never long sitting in the foyer without being asked if we needed any assistance. The duty managers in particular were excellent and one even personally removed our towels from our room after we forgot to change our do not disturb one day.
