Small boutique hotel right across the river from Wat Arun. In a great location to hit the top three tourist attractions: The Grand Palace, Wat Po and Wat Arun. Unfortunately though you are in the middle of tourist central. Eating choices geared in that area for tourist.
Hotel needs freshing up; a little run down, paint peeling, windows of our room were never cleaned! To see the view, we actually cleaned our windows because we could not stand it. Towels thinning and grey. Bathroom in lobby dirty. Our room was under the roof top bar which on Friday and Saturday night was pretty loud. Breakfast mediocre, no exotic fruits! In Thailand there are so many fruits, what is offered: apples, regular bananas and watermelon. What about papaya, mangos, mangostein, and pomelo??!! Orange juice from a can???
Hotel Roof bar, Eagle Nest, watered down expensive drinks where you have to fight to get a seat while there are those taking hundreds of selfies, while one is trying to enjoy the view.
Staff nice but not too informed.
Lovely view but would not choose this hotel again.
