We spent four nights at the Park Plaza from June 29th, to July 2nd. The hotel is located in a great area, about a five minute walk to the different trains, which can get you to most places in the city. It was also very easy to get to and from the airport using the trains, but I'm sure you could use a taxi if you'd like. There's a few places to eat in the area, but nothing worth mentioning here. The hotel also has a restaurant, but we did not eat there.
The room was nice and clean and it was quiet. The refrigerator was stocked with minibar items, which we didn't have, and they also made sure we had free bottled water. There wasn't a view of anything, but it was just what we needed.
There's a very nice pool on the roof, that wasn't too busy, and was quiet enough to make it a relaxing stop, in such a hectic city.
The front desk and concierge were extremely helpful. The concierge, Giant, helped us get a taxi that took us to Ayutthaya for the day. He also warned us of some of the different scams in the area (taxi's that sit outside of hotels), and scams that happen around places like the Grand Palace.
A very pleasant stay.More
