This restaurant is tucked away on a small street, just a few blocks from a main road. It is right behind, almost adjacent to, the Pantip Suites Hotel. The food was excellent, the service friendly, and the clientel heavy with guests from the nearby hotel. The owner (either a Brit or an American?) seems to always be there, making sure everyone is happy! Although the customers were mostly tourists, the food was "real" local Thai. Food was nicely spiced, moderately priced, and quite frankly, very good. If you are at the hotel, you definitely should visit the Mali. I am not sure it is worth a long travel distance, as Bangkok is filled with good restaurants. Lastly, as always, travel safe!
