“Good but better to stay in Riverside hotels”
Reviewed April 26, 2014 via mobile

Good location in sukhumvit but really didn't find much to do there so we ended up travelling back and forth to the Riverside all the time until we changed hotel to one over there. The reception was not very helpful didn't speak much English and didn't recommend d anything when asked where to go or eat. They forgot our wake up call. The room is very nice and clean and right next to terminal 21 mall and Train.

Great hotel 1 min walk to Asoke BTS. Very clean and modern, rooms small, but trendy and awesome beds! Bathrooms spacious and clean and big tv. Free wifi and good conexion. Didnt try the food. Don't choose if you want facilities like swimminpool, gym, etc. But overall great value for money.

I visited 2 years ago and was very happy then. Now I am still happy and very satisfied to re-visit Rooms are the same, i have booked standard for 8 days which was fine but if you want a 42" lcd tv and better (not bigger) design of the room you should go for deluxe. Its not a big Price difference so "up 2 you". They have thai and English tv chanals. Good problem free wifi internet. NIce beds and free 1 bottle of Water pr person. There is no room service or fridge with cool drinks or snacks but you are 5 min away from anyting you want and can buy to take back to your room.

It is a budget hotel but the rooms are over standard, the service is just right. But dont expect more than a nice room to sleep and that is what most want. No fitness or swimming pool. But that would be to much to be true.

Any how a very big recommendation if you look for this kind of hotel at a great location. Though Sukhumvit is heavy trafic so use skytrain.

As mentioned by most other hotel stayers, the location of the hotel is ideal. It is within 2 minutes walking distance to both the BTS (Asok) and MRT (Sukhumvit) stations. For travellers who intend to talk the train from the airport, it is very convenient to drop off at Makkasan station and then transit to MRT (Sukhumvit). For travellers taking taxi, it would be recommended to print out a map of the hotel for the taxi driver or to drop off at Terminal 21. Most if not all taxi drivers would know Terminal 21 as the destination.

Travellers who are planning for heavy duty shopping do not need to fret with a short distance to the various shopping malls at Chit Lom and Siam Centre via BTS. Adult travellers would be pleased to know that the hotel is also near to Soi Cowboy and massage parlours at Phrom Phong.

Though it is well located near to the MRT/BTS stations and to Ratchadaphisek road, we did not have any issues about the noise from the trains or cars. As there were many options available for breakfast such as the street food or the food court at Terminal 21, we did not opt for the breakfast at the hotel.

The rooms were very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable after our 21 hour flight and the shower was like heaven! Also, the staff was very helpful when we asked for directions and suggestions. Their breakfast was also nice! Very close to the BTS and easy to navigate to.

Stayed 22nd-26th March 2014,
Loved this hotel ...friendly and really helpful staff. Rooms just as in photos shown, beds really comfortable, 100 meters or so to BTS and MRT Asoke that takes you everywhere . Would definitely stay here again as i prefer smaller hotels. Banks and Exchange opposite, breakfast was good. Its expanding so expect some noise between 10am - 6pm daily if not going out but we were only here to sleep basically so didnt bother us and could hear no noise at night as hotel is off a small side road.

Room Tip: stayed at the front on higher floor ,ask for room furthest away from the new extension part.

Nice hotel with great rooms and comfy beds. Breakfast was also very good. And only a few steps from the skytrain. We were only there for three days and mainly for shopping so the location cannot be beaten. However we did miss the possibility of going to the pool after a long day as the hotel has no pool. But if that is not important for you then this is the hotel for you.
