One of the best experieinces of our vacation. Our guide was excellent and the food along the way was quite good!

This is a great way to introduce yourself to thai cuisine if it is your first visit to Bangkok. We walked into restaurants and explored food that we never would have entered or ate on our own. We had to schedule a private tour in the afternoon because it was the only way to fit it into our schedule and I'm really glad that we found a way to do it. We were so full and only needed cocktails for dinner! We also did a food tour in Italy recently and it was a bit more interesting as far as the stories that went along with the food and the non-food stops on the tour. This could possibly just be a language issue. Our guide spoke English fairly well, but there were some limitations. Overall, it was very enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it!

What a treat! I found it here on TA and booked 2 tours. Both where terrific. Great guides, awesome food and very nice company. I highly recommend doing it if you are into food and do not mind walking around learning new things about the City of Angeles!

Kit was a great guide! Got us into places that we would never been able to negotiate on our own. All the food was very good and some of it outstanding. Duck Cheeks were the star of the show for me and the crispy pork noodle soup was also a highlight!

We went on a walking tour through one of Bangkok's oldest neigbourhoods next to the Chao Praya river to explore and familiarise ourselves with the Bangkok street food scene. We visited 5 well chosen, enthnically diverse small street restaurants where we sampled dishes such as grilled duck and rice with spicy sauce, pickled ginger and cucumber and curry lava on egg ( which tasted absolutely divine) to name just a few. The tour also included visits to a local Wat, the catholic cathedral and a river crossing. Our guide spoke excellent english, was knowledgable, friendly and engaged and comfortably answered all our questions.
This tour is off the beaten track and really well worth doing, especially if you are curious about the street food but not quite brave enough to try it on your own
