It is a very convenient place to stay in Bangkok. It is at the City but not very much crowded. You can walk to Sukhumvit Road or take tuk-tuk for 50 Bath. Don't take more than that. It is also walking distance to BTS Ratchathewi Station. You can also get a nice taste of Thailand breakfast. It cost around 380Bath from BKK Airport, that already includes the Toll and 50 Bath Fee. They take in Clients coming from late arrivals. The concierge will also help you get tuk-tuk for your next tourist destination.

We spent 7 nights at this hotel and we found a fantastic value-for-money option in Bangkok. It's a big, modern building with lots of rooms, a restaurant on the ground floor (where breakfast takes place). Check-in and check-out procedures were correct, but not very polite, Thai smile is absent on the reception girls faces, but you get the service you need. There are more than 10 storeys and only three lifts, so you had to wait quite a while to go up or down on them. There's only AC on the restaurant and lobby but not on the common areas, hallways on each floor, so you really get the difference in temperature, due to high temps in Bangkok always. Also, the first day in our room it was really hot, and the AC was not enough to chill the room up until like the whole night with the AC on. After that, it was easier to cool it down after each day of sightseeing.

The room is basic but comfortable. The bed and linens are ok, as well as towels quality. There's a desk with a chair and an electric water heater for making coffee or tea, but no coffee or tea supplies. There's also a fridge, which is very convenient for keeping water cool. The bathroom is nice and comfortable, except for not having a curtain for the bathtub, so each time you have a shower, the whole bathroom gets wet. If you're picky with this kind of details, don't go there!

Breakfast is always crowded, because the hotel is big and the restaurant space is not big enough for all the guests. We always had to beg for a table (almost all community tables) and even for clean cups, there was almost always not enough cups or food. The food selection is dedicated to Asian habits, not much for Western guests like us. Only some cereal, bread, butter and jam, so we always kept some food in our fridge to complete the breakfast. Also it's so crowded and people always rush and almost 'fight' to get food or coffee, that it's really stressful, and for us it was not a good way of starting the day. So sometimes we had breakfast directly in our room. Again, if you're picky with this kind of things, don't go there.

The location is excellent, just 10 minutes away from the MBK shopping mall, and only 300m to the MRT station, which is so very convenient. You have a 7-eleven store close to the hotel as well. It's also close to the klong station as well, which we found so convenient and fun! And also you can explore inside the 'soi's' around. It's so Bangkok!

In terms of cleaniness it's ok. They clean the room every day and it's fine. But common areas are not spotless clean. We could rest peacefully at night, which we appreciate a lot!

So in all, if you're not picky and you need to save some money for the rest of the trip, I recommend you go here, it's very good value for money and the location is simply awesome!

I booked a room in this hotel for 4 nights - twin bed through their website. There was no problem on booking this hotel. There was a credit card guarantee, however you could pay it on cash upon your arrival. My room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. There were 2 bottles of mineral water everyday in your mini fridge.

This hotel is located at Ratchathewi, you could walk for less than 8 minutes to the BTS Ratchathewi. There was also seven-eleven kiosk next to the hotel in case you need some soaps or snacks. Moreover, you don't need to worry of hunger pain because near the hotel there were some street food and delicious restaurants. In case you got pain in your body or feet after a long walk, there was some massage places next to the hotel cost 200 THB for 60 minutes feet massage and 200 THB for 60 minutes for Thai body massage.

The receptionists were also great. As a first timer to Bangkok, they gave us information what transportation to take to places in Bangkok. Bell boys and securities helped us to get taxis and they also told the taxi driver to put the meter. Moreover, you can change your large denominations to smaller denominations through the receptionists.

In the hotel, there were also washing machines in 6th Fl and in 17th Fl. If you did the laundry yourself, you only need to put 30 THB coins in the washing machine and put 30 THB coins in the drying machine. However, if you don't want to do the laundry yourself, you can use a laundry service in the hotel by contacting receptionists.

There was also buffet breakfast. It was indeed so many people with limited seats. But don't worry, there would always be empty seats. Breakfast started at 6 am - 10 am. If you don't want the crowd, you can come early for breakfast or you can come later at 9.30 am. There still be enough food for guests. So don't worry about breakfast.

There was also indoor swimming pool in 5M Floor. The swimming pool was only 85 cm deep. Maybe this pool was only for children. I am not gonna recommend you this swimming pool.

Overall, i love this hotel. I would love to be back to this hotel again on my next trip.

Room Tip: Choose higher floor. I stayed at 20th Fl. It's perfect. You could see Bangkok city from above

This hotel is an excellent location, the closest BTS Skytrain station just a 3 minute walk away. THe staff are friendly and speak good English, and the breakfast was okay. From the skytrain the main malls in the area are just 10 minutes away at the most. The rooms are quite nice and tidy, and very modern looking.

Booked thru their website for 3 nights / 2 triple rooms. After-booking services is a bit slow (I have to email twice before they answer my queries: no connecting rooms but willing to accommodate my request of same floor for both rooms). Check-in and check-out was a breeze, less than 5-mins! Rooms was ready when we're arrived, slightly after 2pm. We did an early check-out, so there is no line.

PROS
- (Very) clean room and toilet. Hardly any dust or stickiness on the wooden floor (no carpeting).
- Public washing machine available on our floor (6th) but we didn't use it.
- Rooms are cleaned everyday.
- Complimentary 2 bottled drink. Replenished every day, even though we still have not drink the previous two.
- Doorman was smiley and courteous. (Front desk was expressionless though).
- 3 lifts available. When we were there, we hardly have to fight for it.
- If you wish to join the day tour or engage a cab back to airport, a booth is available just beside the lifts. The man there can speak English, Chinese and Malay! (We've booked a 10-seater van to Don Mueang Airport for 1000baht)

CONS
- Air con was set at the lowest but still feel as though it was set on 25C. I didn't report this as my roommates has no qualms about it.
- Found a tiny nymph (baby cockroach) near the toilet door. Wonder where it came from?!

NEARBY LOCATIONS
- Ratchathewi BTS is a 5-7 mins straight walk. (Bear the long stairs! An escalator is available on the other side of the road)
- Siam Paragon & MBK Shopping Mall is just 1 & 2 stations away.
- Platinum Mall & Pratunam Market is a 10-15 min walk. From hotel, turn right and walk straight towards Ratchathewi BTS Station, just before arrival you'll see a zebra crossing. Cross the road and walk straight.
- 7-Eleven is right beside the hotel.
- For Muslim travellers, there are two Halal restaurants across the street (Mak Yah Muslim Restaurant & Farida Fatornee). From hotel, turn right and walk straight towards Ratchathewi BTS Station. Keep looking towards your left side, till you see Mak Yah's vibrant yellow signboard. Cross the street. (Be careful!)

Pretty cheap for a hotel in Bangkok that is pretty accessible to almost everywhere. For example, platinum mall is a 10-15 stroll from the hotel. They allow early check-ins without any questioning and charges which is good for those arrive early in bangkok. The room itself is great too.. Toilet comes with a bath tub and the entire building probably has access to WiFi(although you probably have to keep logging in everything you enter a new hotspots)
the only downside is the buffet breakfast. Was expecting much more from this hotel. For one, there isn't any egg station and selections is pretty limited.. Probably you can head out for some breakfast around the hotel.

Room Tip: Wifi is everywhere is you worry...

By no means is this place terrible, but it is terribly average. The rooms are nice and clean, toilets are big and spacious with a bath tub, TV has decent channels. It's all your usual amenities. Although depending on which room you get, you may wind up with quite a dark room due to lack of windows.

Location is not the best - unless you are ready to walk. It's actually a little far from MBK, Platinum, Siam Paragon etc, about 15-20 min walk. To get to the nearest BTS you still have to climb a mountain of stairs. You get used to it, but it's not for those with children or the elderly.

The area around it is not too bad, lots of street food, but no nightlife/vendors selling clothes etc. The buffet is okay but there's a severe lack of tables and it's chaos every morning unless you wake up really early.

No problems with the internet despite the hassle of getting new passwords everyday.

Well, you get what you pay for, so I suppose it's fine.
