I love this hotel!!! Considering the facilities they have, the price is really cheap! The rooms are huge and really clean. The beds are super comfy, it makes me wanna lie down the whole day (haha). The wifi connection is super fast. They also have glasses and a teapot for heating water for coffee inside the room. The bathroom is also huge! It has ventilation, and the shower also has a heater. A TV is also in the room. They have hangers, free towels, and bathroom stuff like shampoo, soap, shower cap, toothbrush, toothpast. A free buffet breakfast is included. The staff are also accomodating and friendly. Hi Sutep! haha. They also offer rides if ever you want to rent to go to far places like Dream World, or Ayutthaya. And speaking of their vans, they're really huge!!! They also give tour packages. The train station is also a 5-10 minute walk. The hotel is also near a convenient store. Their elevator is not as huge, but it didn't cause any discomfort :p

This is a new, clean and modern hotel. Although it has not much character (except that each room has different name and colour), we had a comfortable night stay.

The room is quite large and the bathroom is fine. We had a little problem with the key card holder when we first arrived our room but the hotel has a good fixing guy available to fix things.

The hotel staff is fine but not that great and not that friendly. The cafe for breakfast has nice decoration with Thai musical instruments theme and the breakfast is really quite good.

We had to pay 1000 baht for the key deposit which is definitely a bit extreme for a key charge!

Having said that, what is really good about this hotel is its location. Near MRT station which is not very far from the new Central Plaza Grand Rama 9, IT Mall @ Fortune Town, Mansion 7 and Ratchada night market (Sat). And the hotel itself is very near 7-eleven where one of us could buy the emergency clean t-shirts!

I booked this hotel last minute for my business trip to Bangkok last Tuesday on 1st May.I am usually skeptical about booking and staying at a hotel which i am not familiar with. But this hotel was a good choice after my friend whom stayed there told me it's a nice hotel. It's conveniently located near the Metro Station called Huai Khwang where i normally would stay whenever i go Bangkok. The hotel itself was newly renovated and the rooms are spacious.Highly recommended to those planning to go Bangkok and going again for holiday or business.

CMYK made for a really nice base while we explored Bangkok. Despite a few of the reviewers here in TripAdvisor saying the location isn't good, we found it perfectly fine (seeing as we're not paying for mid-city location) - it's just a 5 minute walk to MRT underground train (Huai Khwang station) which connects to the rest of transport network.

Other than location, we found the staff friendly with adequate English, the included breakfast to be nice, and the room to be modern (a very small window / balcony, but that's a minor).

Overall, a good experience and would stay there again.

Well, probably not the best of locations (depending where you are visiting in Bangkok) but on the hine side, it (Bangkok) is a huge city to be in. Situated at Ratchada, or the locals (taxi drivers etc) would be more familiarize with 'Huai Kwang', CMYK is 5 mins away from Huai Kwang MRT station (would be good to study the MRT route as the traffic jam in BKK can be quite frustrating) and is approximately 15 mins away from Central Plaza, a nearby shopping mall.

There is aso 7-eleven convenient store within minutes reach and is surrounded by food stalls all-around the vicinity.

Definitely, there are no qualms about the room cleanliness and service. CMYK has the exterior of a boutique designer-like hotel suited for creative professionals and the all-white furniture concept makes the whole interior and furnish look posh. I would assume the hotel is barely two-years old although my friends and I never asked.

As for price? It is approximately SGD50 per night (with no bathtub) for a twin room and most importantly, WIFI is free. And for the early birds, breakfast is catered to hotel-guest free as well but don't expect wide varieties served on the buffet table.

This hotel is my first stop during my first trip to Thailand with a bunch of female friends. Before going to the hotel, there is almost a communication breakdown between my friend and the taxi driver as my friend have mentioned "myhotel, CYMK". The taxi driver thought that we are talking about my hotel and doesn't know that CYMK is a hotel. After this incident, it is important to tell the driver that you are going, myhotel, CYMK, Ratchda.

My friends, the taxi driver and I got lost for about 15 minutes as the hotel is not a grand hotel which faces the main road. So near, yet so far. It would be best if you get a map of the area around the hotel via internet before going to Thailand. The maps gotten from the airport is not accurate and not updated.

When the taxi driver drove us to the main entrance of the hotel, there are hotel porters who helped us with the luggage. The checking is abit slow but the waiting area is big and comfortable for resting. The lift lobby is small but it's new. Arriving to my booked hotel room, I thought that my room would have most of the things or anything that has to do with the name of the room, but I was wrong, all rooms looks about the same and has nothing to do with the same. Felt cheated, thinking that it is a boutique hotel. Nonetheless, the room floor, bed, cabinets, table, bathroom are clean. There's once I saw how they clean the room...The cleaner actually barefooted into the room and mopped the floor (with not dirty looking mop). Maybe that's the reason why the floor sparkles. The room is a flat screen TV, bar fridge, clothes hanging area, aircon, a small stool, and of course, two comfortable beds. The bathroom, has towels, mirror, shower, shampoo, body wash, toilet bowl, and hand washing basin. However, the shampoo and body wash they provided are too little, they comes in two small bottle, so, I ended up buying cheap shampoo and bodywash, and keep their's as souvenirs.

Most of the time the corridor is quiet unless you have a noisy neighbor. The temperature from their aircon is adjustable to the temperature you wanted. The TV channels are watchable, from English to Thai, from movies to drama series and variety shows.

The breakfast buffet they provided is consider satisfactorily, it ranges from toast bread, to western or Thai salad, to western breakfast to Chinese food. They provide a spread to keep up beat until mid afternoon. The service they provided is consider satisfactorily.

Do check out the ladies at the massage shop at the corner, opposite their restaurant/pub, their provide fixed charges services, such as Thai, foot, back, full body massage and therapies. My injured foot is fixed my them. They are professional and friendly. Do make an appointment with them as most of the time their timing are full booked especially at time when most tourist came backed from their day-time outing or shopping.

Overall, the hotel gives an image of simple, quiet, clean and a bit of homely feel. The hotel is locate near their subway train station and moreover, the hotel is located beside a small road where it is easier to flag for a taxi. As the distance between the train station and hotel, is short and is not too crowded or not quiet, is it suitable for female travelers . My sister and I who were the only first timer traveling to Thai and we go back to the hotel as though it is our neighborhood. I would definite visit again if I visit Bangkok again. Cheers!

Room Tip: Choose rooms near the lift for female travelers. Rooms at the end are slightly smaller.

I stayed at CMYK@Ratchada twice during last summer. This hotel is new but has been built cheaply. It aspires to look trendy what resulted in odd design and spartan furnishings. The rooms below 7 floor have windows facing a wall of the building next door and provide no view and let little day light. There is no closet in the room but instead there are two rods sticking out directly from the wall with couple of hangers on it. There is also no proper chair inside the room. The room also features miniature safety box that may not fit your laptop. The safety box is not attached to anything so considering its size, weight and portability it is pretty useless. The bathroom is small but sufficient. Water pressure is descent and hot water is actually hot. I found self closing bathroom door annoying as they kept getting in the way during using the sink. The hotel walls separating the rooms are thin and let the noise from neighboring rooms cross over. My regular level conversation over the phone at evening was found disturbing by a guest next door and vice versa, I could involuntarily hear my neighbors intimate activities...

The cleanness can easily withstand some improvement. My fridge had some dried up spills inside that appear to be there for a while....

The hotel serves descent breakfast included in price and hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from MRT station what makes it a great location. 7-11 store just next door, free wi-fi however can be slow depending on your room location. The staff is young and somewhat disorganized. I had someone else's laundry delivered to my room. I refused and it was taken away I guess to the proper room but that laundry charge nevertheless appeared on my bill and it took me a significant effort to have it removed. The staff also forgot to deliver my own laundry left at the reception for a whole day and then rushed it the following day. They did charge me additional fees for a rush order and express drying and refused to acknowledge that this rush order was a result of their own negligence and therefore they should cover the additional charges.

I stayed in this hotel twice this summer just two weeks apart but was charged two different rates...

So all in all would I stay there again? If the room rate remains competitive, the answer is yes, however I would insist on a room on 7 or 8th floor so the difference between a hotel room and a prison cell is somewhat more pronounced.

Room Tip: Insist in 7 or 8 floor room or your room will likely face a wall of another building just a few feet...
