Great atmosphere, excellent food and service. A most enjoyable experience within the hotel. Like everywhere else in the hotel the staff was most attentive.

As a former regular guest of this restaurant we opted to have the Saturday evening buffet.

What a mistake it was, a real let downin terms of variety, but more so availability and service. Service was appalling to say the very least.

All I wanted was a few oysters. Took 20 mins of waiting. All we wanted was a nice meal with friendly service to remember. We arrived at 8pm and were gone before 9.

No one bothered to ask how our meal was, they seemed more interested in getting our Baht than having us every return again.

Today we ate at the st Regis, around the corner - amazing difference on absolutely every level. Perhaps he manager of Hyatt should venture afield and check the competition.

We feel rorted for wasting our time on a perfectly good Saturday night. I expect a contact from Hyatt, if not I will report back more of their lack of customer service.

We have experienced many buffets around the world. Since we weren't in Bangkok or Sunday brunch this time, to go back to the Raintree cafe (amazing, although it seems quite ricey these dys for te British traveller), we decided to try this one out. At around £50, plus drinks, we didn't feel it was worth it. Service was attentive but the food was just OK, nothing to write home about. The only seefood they had was prawns and crab, but not king crab which I was hoping to find. Lamb was good but again, definetely not worth £50. You can find similar buffet experiences in Bangkok fr half the price. By the way,the dining room felt dated to us, not a place for a romantic dinner.
