My husband and I stayed here for 3nights prior to flying on to Phuket.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay,it was modern,clean and the bed was comfy,although a little on the hard side,And the pillows made my sleep wonderful.The free shuttle service to the MRT was very good,and the drivers friendly,As other reviews have mentioned they seemed a little understaffed on reception.
The only negative is that their shower screen is not big enough and water pours onto the floor.
Other than that would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to others.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, special thanks to Ton, you made our stay very comfortable and we felt at home..... Thank you for delivering our IPad at the airport after forgetting it while checking out!!!! Be Blessed.... See you next year in July.

This was a 1 month trip for me and my gf in Thailand, and after flying from London to the philippines for 4 days then phil to bkk Golden tulip was my choice just for a rest up untill we moved on to phuket, i had initially wanted to say for 3 days, but decided 5 days was better so we could rest and get our bearings back . I wasnt really expecting much from golden tulip but i was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is only 7-8 months old so everything looks brand new the rooms are a treat to the eyes and have modern functionality with electronic security on the elevator so that only a person with a room can access the floor level, smart tv and free wifi. The staff were very helpful and accommodating they greet you always in the traditional manner in thai. The pool is a decent enough size to swim and looks great! again with nice modern and clean look. The buffet breakfast is fantastic! so much choice, high quality food! and the service is fantastic i loved eating that every morning. Location is also really good you can ask the hotel to take you somewhere in the shuttle service or its just a short walk to anywhere many things are close by including sky train, mall, park etc. Golden tulip is a great place to stay i could go on alot more but all i can say is money well spent there is nothing really negative i could say only maybe the reception staff could do with some better training or atleast have two ppl there at busy times. The rooms get a 10/10 from me and the rest gets an 9/10 i would say the bar was very empty and borning but it was lean season so... and also its quite over priced but thats to be expected in hotels just go out and buy some beers from 7-11 or near by bars.

Golden tulip hotel Exceeded all expectations, there are some communication probs, but i found that most of my time in Thailand this is not just a case for golden tulip. i could say so much more about this great hotel, but if you want a fantasic place to stay while your in Bangkok for a reasonable price this is the place you will not be disappointed.

Golden Hotel Mandison Suites - Good Hotel , with excellent room and also in a good location , clsoe to shopping areas but the only thing they need to improve is their customer Service. Their Front desk especially one lady doesnt even understand the definition of customer service. She was so rude,arrogant and uncooperative that we are thinking twice of staying in this hotel in the future.

Bottomline - A good hotel spoiled by lack of customer service.

This hotel has won our hearts during our entire stays in Thailand. My husband and I (along with 22 people of our family members including 8 kids) checked in at Golden Tulip Mandison Suites. The minute we arrived, we were greeted friendily from hotel staffs at the front table downstairs. They managed to bring about 40 luggages up to each rooms without any error. They were very efficient and they will go extra mile to make sure that all your requirements are met. Once we got upstairs at Level 4 to do our check-in, they handled our group booking with such efficient and professional manners. (We have been staying in many hotels. Taking into consideration that this is a fairly new hotel, their staffs were just excellent!) We were, at no time, checked in to the upgraded room :) and thats a bonus. Our family member who travel to Thailand for the first time as a married couple were also upgraded into a bigger suites.

What to love..
- we love how efficient the staffs were and also their helpfulness and professionalism
- Love the shuttle service that was so easy going. You can ask them to come pick u up at the drop off location at dedicated time and they will be there.
- Love Terminal 21 that situate in a short walking distance. (wouldn't recommend for older people or young children to walk because the amount of people and the heat was just unbearable) Ladies, if you have time check out the Take Care nail Salon. They do full spa manicure and pedicure service for about $35! just awesome!
- the pool :) a plus features for family to hang out. Kids just love the pool
- the key card feature that u can only go to your level. (although there is a fire escape stairs that leads to every floor...it gives a small peace of mind to have dedicated key to your floor)
- the restaurant next door is a Chinese/Thai restaurant. The mango with sticky rice there is just awesome!
- OH! Hotel bed and pillows! Just soooo dreamy and nice! we wanted to buy a pillow home but unfortunately they dont have it in stock.-_-

Suggestions for the hotel...
- Personally I get bored from eating the same breakfast everyday especially when we stay for roughly a week. I would suggest the restaurant to change or switch some items on the breakfast bar to add some spice to the day :)
- Some of the washroom has weak water pressure and the bathroom floor wasn't level properly. As a result, we have some water trapped on the floor.

Thank you especially to Khun Napaporn Udom who has been helping us with the booking throughout the entire process. Your patience for our inquiry is truely appreciated. I wish we could meet in person but the opportunity did not come. Also, thank you kindly to all the hotel staffs who efficiently delivered great memory for us and our family. This is their first time to visit Thailand and I am sure it wont be the last :)

Room Tip: Every room in the hotel is different which makes it hard to pinpoint on which one is the best. As for bedding quality, it is guaranteed that you will have a great night sleep in whichever room you are in. The hotel contains quiet atmosphere (at least when we stay there) so noises are not a problem at all.
