Well this was a spur of the moment decision; we were in the Siam Discovery shopping centre & saw a wax figure of Britney Spears and the desk for buying tickets to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum which is on the 6th floor.

I have never been to a wax museum so we thought it would be fun to have a look around. I am not sure what we paid but whatever it was it was worth it as we had so much fun in there.

Most of the wax figures are fantastic and very lifelike but there are a few that are terrible, like Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie. You can touch the wax figures, take photos with them and some even have little props like hats, glasses, and capes etc you can put on.

We really enjoyed Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, a fun way to spend a couple of hours

Hollywood in Thailand! One of the most unforgettable places we have been to. Nice people and speaks in English better than the others in the other firms. I loved Tom Cruise and Jackie Chan!! :)

Located in Siam discovery center, it is one of must go places for many. Consider it as the first Madame Tussaud in south east Asia and the fact that there are many "Wax man" on display ranging from celebrity, politician, scientist and many more. The only thing to worry is that there are too many side to take picture with that you don't know whether you have the time to take all of them or not. When you purchase ticket, the officer will probably ask you to buy the bundle package, 1 ticket to visit both Madame Tussaud and Ocean world for 1360 bath.

Inside there, you basically can take picture with any "Wax man" and some explanation of their history is also available so check them out, there are staff in the hall to take photo for you as well for 1 special scene of Pirate of the caribbean and when you got out, have to pay 100 bath for 1 picture which they will prepare in a nice booklet and extra 20 bath to email the photo to you.

Most figure is nicely done, and some look like the real person but however some small number of them not really look like the real one but overall is enjoyable and totally worth the time to visit the place and spend time to take pictures there.

It's like a dream come true to finally get the chance to touch (yes, touch) a wax public figure. I always wonder how they feel like in my hands haha. A bit shocked cos I thought if SEA would have a madame tussauds museum, it would be in Singapore. Turned out I was wrong.

Anyways, though some of the figure not really look like the real one, I think overall they're good. You can pose with will smith, gaga, madonna, bieber, gandhi, beckham, etc.

It is located inside a mall in Siam area. So it shouldn't be hard to find half an hour of your shopping time and visit the museum.

To be honest, I was not expecting too much from this place after reading the reviews but I had some time to kill anyway.

There were between 20-30 exhibits and some were so life like, I was half expecting them to be a real human, pop up in your face to scare you and feature you in an episode of "Just for laughs".

Definately worth a visit but I won't return anytime soon unless more than 70% of the exhibits are new exhibits.
