Very nice and calm place. Good services at the desk. Everyday cleaning. Wifi free and Safe-deposit-box. Rooms are a bit small but very comfortable. Excelent breakfast. We have no problem with the personal. You can order some meals to the room for good price

Room Tip: some rooms have balcony across glazed main passage with less privacy (must use curtain)

I went to Bangkok last week and choose this hotel because it was near the Siam City Hotel, the location of conference that my husband would attend. But before we made final choice, first we looked for reviews about the hotel in this website and suprisingly most of them were good, so we picked this True Siam hotel for our stay in Bangkok.

The service was good and the staffs were very helpful. The room was so spacious (standard room), there was balcony which looking over Pullman hotel at the back of the hotel. Although the building kind of old, but the room was clean, some of furnitures and also the bathroom, I think they were stil new. The great thing here, they provided free Wifi in the hotel with good connection. What I really don't like that I can heard the sound of people in the upper room walking and it was very annoying, especially at night when it was time to go to bed.

The location was very good, it was closed to the Victory Monument BTS, Phayat Thai BTS and Airport link/ City line Station, it was also closed few minimarts (711 and CP food market). So, it wasn't difficult when we had to go somewhere by BTS (their public transportation).
and needed some snacks/drinks.

Well, after 4 nights here, we LOVE the hotel, especially their breakfast, the best things were their fried egg and salad. We also love their lobby and breakfast area, where they gave Thailand's Traditional House touch.

What a great find smack bang in the middle of Bangkok! This property is conveniently located very near the rail station that is the end of the line from the new airport. It is in a soi running from a main road, but far enough away from the main road that you do not have the traffic noise or worries. It is very close to the Skytrain, so getting around Bangkok is a breeze and you only need walk a short distance for shopping.

It has a restaurant on site and the food is very good with a wide variety to choose from. Buffet style breakfast was included, and whilst the variety wasn't huge it was more than enough to satisfy and help start the day with a full stomach.

The staff (from the cleaners to the concierge) are very pleasant, respectful and helpful....I cannot fault them, and their attention to detail should be applauded....they are a credit to the General Manager of the Hotel.

We stayed in a twin bed room on the 5th floor...it was recently refurbished; spotlessly clean; lots of space and well very appointed. The air-conditioning worked well and the little extras you would expect from a 5 star hotel were in the room e.g. tooth brush & paste, shampoo, body lotion, safe and scuffs. The hotel does not have a pool, but if you are only staying for a few nights then it doesn't matter. If you think you are going to hanker for a cocktail bar, then stay at True Siam and simply go the the Siam City Hotel next door for a cocktail and return to your hotel to sleep and play!

Don't expect suit attired doormen and topiarised bushes...expect a good quality, clean and very friendly hotel that is priced to allow you enjoy your stay in Bangkok. Thankyou True Siam we will be definitely staying again.

I am writing a review about the true Siam hotel, Bangkok. I researched many hotels in Bangkok and settled on this one after all the good reviews I had read. I was definately pleased when I arrived. I followed another reviews directions as we got the sky train and walked to the hotel frm the city. It is only a 5 minute walk but with luggage, the heat and the traffic it can be a little frustrating getting there. The hotel is on a side road next to the Siam city hotel which is a big black glass building. When the sky train stops you want to head towards this building, walking with the sky train platform above you. Cross over the main junction so that you are stood with a building with a giant pot of noodles on your left. If you walk in this direction (with this building on your left) you will come to a little side road and that will have a signpost showing the hotel is left. The hotel is then about halfway down this street.
As soon we got there there was someone waiting to take our bags, and who gave us a refreshing glass of green juice, which later I found to be guava juice. I had called the hotel in advance to confirm my booking (very difficult in practice due to the language barrier but i felt it was  necessary) were they informed me of a 1000thb (£20) deposit which wasn't mentioned on my booking. They do give this back on leaving minus any mini bar items. We were lead to our room which was a a decent size and well kept. The bathroom wasn't big but definately nothing to moan about seeing as we weren't going to be in our hotel for much of our stay. We had a smoking room which meant we had a balcony on the back of our room which was nice and private. The air con was consistent and didn't feel like it cooled the room down much until you stepped outside and realised how hot it actually was! We arrived early so decided to get room service before venturing out into the city. Big mistake! Not only was the food inedible but it was also cold. This kept us away from the hotel food&eating out every meal.
The staff at the hotel were lovely and gave us some great advice about our sightseeing and our stay here. There were a few staff that spoke english but it wasnt great, we were still able to communicate well with 2 of them. The staff were always curtious and did anything to help. In terms of the location, the hotel was great getting to and from the airport, king power duty free mall and the victory point but the temples were a little far away. Having said that, when we went out we were out, we were out for the day, and got a tuk tuk or taxi back. We drank in the hotel bar a few times which was nice&quiet &nice to sit out at night (beware the mosquitos! I was a little naive).
Overall I was really pleased with the True Siam hotel. Really great price, staff were helpful and polite, and decent room. The outside and reception were particulary well kept and had a great Thai theme thoroughout (I didn't want another western hotel!). The only thing that I would moan about was the food (never again!) other than that it would get a 5/5. Will definately be recommending to anyone coming here, and will use again if I ever return.
