Stayed there for 2 nights (first night when we arrived in Bangkok) and then second night was after 2 weeks of travelling around laos and Vietnam.

Upon arrival I used the hotel which was absolutely sublime. The room was very comfortable and the view was great.

The breakfast was amazing and there was a good selection.

The second time we visited, they put us in a room with a balcony overlooking the golf course and the rest of the city.

There were also some additional touches which were perfect.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel, the suites are large and well appointed (almost too large really), service was wonderful, quiet and very lush all around.

The gym is large and well equipped (loved this!) and the pool is just gorgeous.

The only drawback is the location, it's a bit of a hike to the main street and not that great if you need to get back to the hotel in the middle of the night on foot.

Room Tip: If you're looking to shop you might not want to stay here but if you're looking for a spa, quiet holiday, this is the place!

I will not repeat all the superlatives listed in the other reviews here. To the extent they describe a first class five star boutique hotel they are accurate. Several points I want to add. First, the Hansar has what is possibly the most dramatic oitdoor pool I have ever seen anywhere. Located on the edge of the building on the eighth floor it has spectacular views of the area. You can easily spend hours there.
Second, the immediate area where the hotel is located has to be the most exclusive, lavish neighborhood in the world. The hotel is across the street from the St Regis and Four Seasons hotels. Plus it is in the center of numerous contemporary high rise condominiums which are arthecechual masterpieces. Sitting poolside or on the hotel's outside patio looking at the surrounding buildings you can see the area puts upper west side manhattan to shame. Finally the immediate area has to be the most quiet area of Bangkok. There are no bars, street vendors, hawkers, around. Just posh hotels and buildings. Depending on what you are looking for this may be a plus or a minus.
Needless to say I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a lavish place to stay in a classy and quiet neighborhood.

Stayed at the Hansar for 4 nights & recieved complimentry upgrade to the Urban Suite. Lovely rooms, wooden floor & little fern garden inside the room. Beautiful view of the pool & the city.

Loved the decor, they thought of everything. Open mini bar was a nice touch.

Very comfortable bed, mattress & pillows. Bedroom could be closes off from bayhroom & lounge room. Great bathroom, spacious & wooden floor. Only negative was the very masculine smelling bath products - perhaps something a little more neutral or floral next time?

Personalised & thoughtful service provided by the concierges Ping, Oh & Ken. All three were so helpful & made our stay special.

Thank M T

Excellent services from ALL the staffs, Beautiful place .. Everything is perfect in this hotel ! Love the quiet surroundings and just opposite, there's a massage parlour as well (which i go almost everyday). Pool is nice too. The room is comfortable, cosy and beautiful. There's also a wide spread and variety of breakfast every morning !
