We recently stayed at Hansar Bangkok and had a fantastic experience there.

The rooms are beautiful, very comfortable and spacious.
The location is just in the heart of Bangkok, right in between luxury hotels and shopping malls.
The pool and gym area is very nice as well and very relaxing.
The staff treated us like King and Queen from dusk till dawn.
Breakfast has everything you need and the servers are very friendly.

The Rouge Bar is one of the best bar we've tried in Bangkok with its open air terrace, comfortable chairs, tasty cocktails, delicious food, and great service. They have a great night called "Rouge Session" with the DJ on the terrace every Thursday who plays great music and not too loud.
Many thanks to Jonathan, the F&B Manager, who took great care of us during our whole stay and gave us the best recommendations.

We'll highly recommend Hansar to our friends and we'll definitely stay there again when we come back to Bangkok.

This hotel is amazing, right from the moment you step out of the taxi! They immediately grab all your luggage for you and direct you inside where you get a nice refreshing towel and a lovely glass of juice whilst the check in process is being completed. I made a comment that I loved the juice and after we got up to the room Aod called to ask if I would like the recipe as he would be happy to bring it up to my room for me - now that is excellent customer service! The hotel is very modern and cool and very clean. We loved both of our rooms (we stayed at the beginning and end of our trip) and the Edge Suite was something special let me tell you! There is a free minibar with drinks and snacks and fruit which is really lovely and a nice treat. The rooms are very spacious and very comfortable, you don't even want to leave! We ordered food down by the pool and from room service and it was some of the best curry we had during our entire visit in Thailand which was completely unexpected to be honest! The gym facility is very clean and adequate, we used that for a couple days at the beginning of the trip. Everyone was really lovely and really helpful with every little detail from changing money for us to getting taxis wherever we needed to go. The location is also really good, right near Siam and near all the luxury hotels in Bangkok and the breakfast is fantastic!! When we are next in Bangkok, this is definitely where we will be staying as we enjoyed it so much. A special shout out to Aod as he was extremely friendly and helpful with anything we needed, nothing was too much trouble!

Room Tip: We were there for two visits and both the rooms were fantastic. If you want to treat yourself then stay in an Edge Suite as that was amazing!!

So you really never know what to expect when you book a hotel that you've never been to.......
This hotel/experience not only met my expectations but exceeded them in every aspect. If you're looking for an amazing hotel in Bangkok with amazing amenities.......look no further, your search is over.
Service- AHmazing. Your bags are taken and delivered to you room. You are ushered to a quiet area for check in.....a cool cloth is brought to you along with a refreshing drink while they process your credit card and all those other check in-y things.....all this is done while you are sitting in a comfy chair sipping on your beverage......fantastic after a 28 hour trip from boston!!! every person we came in contact with from the hotel was ridiculously accommodating and helpful! Bartenders, room service, gym attendants, and the front desk were all SO helpful!!1
Accommodations- Every design detail in this hotel is perfection. If you appreciate good design and attention to detail.....you'll love this place. Even the pool bathrooms look like they are right out of architectural digest:). The rooms are super modern and sexy! The bathrooms are to DIE for. Rain Shower all glassed in so its like a steam room and fantastic lighting in the bathroom!!! The bed was probably the best ever in a hotel room.....and my husband agreed (although his vote doesn't count as much since he's been sleeping in a shipping container in Afghanistan for the past 6 months!) even the couches and chairs at the pool deck were comfortable!
Food/Beverage--Everything we tried was amazing! The free breakfast was over the top! You couldn't ask for anything more! Sensational!!!!! Room service was gourmet and plated to perfection!! Then theres happy hour!!!! This beautiful Thai young woman that looked like she didn't even know what tequila is, turned out to be an amazing bar tender.....every drink we got from her at the pool was perfection!!!!!
Spa- My husband says they were the best massages he's ever had! Which couldn't have made me any happier. We met here in Thailand for his 2 week R/R from afghanistan and i wanted him to get massages every day and just relax! He did just that and had nothing but amazing things to say about the spa!!!!!!!!

cons----

give me a sec........

ok, I've got nothing negative to say!!!!

Room Tip: we stayed in a suite! if you can swing it, they were awesome!

This hotel is a true sanctuary in the middle of the craziest city I've ever been to. We had such a relaxing stay there, the staff were great and yet not at all intrusive. We've recommended it to everyone!

Despite having a hiccup at check-in, that was resolved fairly quickly, we had a great stay at this hotel. Hotel room (Urban suite) was great - with separate living area and wet-room. The internal garden was a nice touch. Complimentary (limited) mini-bar was a bonus.

Hotel is in a great location with Skytrain at the end of the road. And gives a welcome break from the hectic city.

The lobby and bar seemed to lack atmosphere and trying to get access to the Skydeck seemed impossible.

Overall a very good hotel, and value for money.
