Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Got an upgrade upon arrival, beautiful modern room with excellent bathroom, extensive breakfast buffet with about 10 different types of fruit, smoked salmon, selection of cheeses, hot dishes, etc. Very tranquil pool. 3-minute walk to metro. Very polite and friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again when travel to Bangkok next time.

The hotel rooms are nice, modern and spacious - with the most comfortable beds and pillows we've slept on. The hotel itself is one train stop (2 mins) away from the busy paragon shopping district, so very easy to get to/from if you don't feel like navigating the busy traffic. The hotel pool is a lovely temperature, and nice and modern.

The thing that sets this hotel apart from the rest is definitely the service received from the concierge staff. Khun Oh and his team immediately made us feel like familiar friends. We were always greeted with smiles and delightful conversation with Khun Oh & team. From recommending the hippest clubs to go to, to booking golf clubs - there was nothing they couldn't help us with. We had a mishap with our laundry (unrelated to the Hansar) and Khun Oh kindly ensured that our clean laundry found itself to us in Phuket the soon after - it made our holiday stress free to know someone we trusted was handling the situation.

Definitely lives up to the small luxury hotel brand. It was nice to return 'home' everyday from a busy day of shopping. Will definitely stay there in the future

We stayed at the Hansar our 2 last nights after travelling around Australia. Everything in this hotel is awesome, the incredible suites, the swimming pool, the spa, the breakfast, the location close the skytrain... But, undoubtedly, the best thing of this hotel is the incredible staff, always kind and helpful with a smile. We had a problem with our luggage at BKK airport and they were all the time trying to help us to find it.
Thanks to all of them and specially to Bobby, the most nice girl I have ever found working in a hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights and then a further 1 night on the way home. We did have a hiccup on our first night where we were asked to move to a different hotel as there was an electrical fault affecting a whole floor and there were no rooms left. I can excuse this as the service i received was world class from the assistant manager on duty at the time. We were upgraded to a vertigo suite when we returned the next day and i can honestly say it is the best room i have ever stayed in in a large hotel. The bed was a dream The bedroom over hangs the side of the hotel and is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom was stunning with a large bath in the middle of the room. The shower was huge with a powerful rainhead and large containers of shower gel etc. The lighting in the room was fantastic with different controls for high and low level lighting which really set the room off.

We were also upgraded on our return visit to the room with a garden in it. Again not as good as the vertigo but of a much better standard than other 5 star hotels i have stayed in.

The only minor points of feedback are i have had better quality and variety of breakfasts in other 5 star hotels. The concierge were not great on advising on the best places to go and eat/visit in Bangkok although they were very helpful.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough and without doubt go for the vertigo room if you can

Room Tip: Go for the vertigo room!

We booked the Hansar for our last few nights in Thailand hoping it would be the perfect end to a wonderful honeymoon. We weren't disappointed! The room was immaculate with a great view and all the comforts you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The room even had a free mini bar and washing machine which was an added bonus after 2 weeks living out of a rucsack. The housekeeping team spoiled us with special honeymoon treats including chocolates, flowers and rose petal baths!
The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive and advised us on the sights to see and booked taxis as and when we needed them. As the hotel is quite new, many taxi drivers hadn't heard of it although if you tell them it is next to the Five Seasons there will be no problem. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return in the future.

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of an around the world trip as a treat, attracted by the rave reviews on TA and also the fact that unlike most of the other Bangkok 5 star hotels, Hansar was offering inclusive breakfast and free wifi for the same price as the other hotels we offering for room only + very very expensive wifi. Paying for breakfast and wifi can add on another £30 to the cost per night so why pay more? Maybe this was only an introductory offer though.

We weren't disappointed - the room we had was brand new and huge with lovely fixtures and fittings - the bathroom in particular had double sinks and large free standing bath as well as separate shower. The bedroom and "living room" both had huge flatscreens and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. We particularly liked the greenery provided in a glass shaft running floor to the ceiling at the room entrance. Breakfast was great and we also ate in the restaurant which while a bit expensive, but provided really lovely food - a scallop starter was particularly memorable. In fact having tried some local quality restaurants, we thought the quality of the food at the hotel was better.

I can also recommend the gym which has fantastic views of the race course and is a great place to go for a run. Only negative points would be that while we were there, the roof seemed off limits a lot, with various private parties and fashion shoots (Korean Boy Band apparently) going on - a shame in that part of the Bangkok experience is enjoying drinks on the roof.

First visit to the Hansar and we were delighted with the service, the upgraded room and the stay. Great location for shopping and close to skytrain so very convenient. Food at breakfast and the room service first rate and recommended.
Special menrtion to Kie and Oh on the front concierge desk who were particularly helpful. The manager came out especially to speak to us on our check out and asked if everything was ok, a nice to touch. We will definately be coming back here on our next visit to Bangkok.
