Galleria 10 Sukhumvit

We stayed here for 4 nights in October, the hotel has a great location. The transfers were a little steep, they charge 1,500. The staff were ok, we had a few questions for them but found that the level of English was very basic and at times they didn't understand our questions so we were left to our own devices. The rooms are smaller than we thought they'd be, we stayed in the superior chill, bathrooms are a good size - with a nice size shower. The Leap Frog restaurant is fantastic, food was excellent. The restaurant downstairs was good too. Good transportation links. We arranged a meter taxi to go to the airport of our return journey, it's was about 800 baht, we went in several toll roads which brought the price up, apparently that's the quickest way, others say it's about 200 baht, not sure about that as the base price on the meter was about 500. If you're looking for somewhere basic to just stay for a few nights then this is the place, but pay a bit more and you can get something better. We didn't get breakfast but there is a fantastic bakery in the shopping mall called Terminal 21, it's in the basement, can't remember the name, but it's the only one there with a coffee shop inside. It's phenomenal.

We stayed for four nights in a superior chill room. A lovely hotel, great decor, excellent bathrooms (particularly the rain shower!) and the staff were very helpful. The rooftop pool is amazing and a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The only negative is that we had an early checkout and needed a taxi to the airport. As everyone knows the taxi drivers hate putting on their meters and try and charge 500THB for an airport journey, which by the meter is only about 200THB. We asked the hotel for a taxi with meter, but when we got in and the driver took off without the meter on, we asked him to turn it on, but he refused. It was 5am and we had a plane to catch, so we managed to negotiate him down to 400THB. We would have got out if it wasn't for the circumstances, which they know of course. It's not really the hotels fault, but the use of some kind of reputable taxi company by a 4 star hotel is surely not too much to ask. We would definitely stay at the hotel again, but be more careful before jumping in a taxi!

Both my husband and I stayed here for 3 nights during the beginning of November.
Since the hotel is new, the room is clean with the modern chic look, and yet not too small.
The bed and pillows are very comfortable and soft. Very clean as well.
We have no complaints about this hotel.

The only drawback is the walk from BTS Nana to the hotel, that will take you about 8-10mins and the road is quite narrow with cars coming from both sides of the road that you have to be careful. You may also take the walk form Chuvit garden that provides you a short cut thru the park and you could enjoy abit of the park.

From BTS Nana to other station is very convenient.

We would recommend this hotel to travelers that willing to walk a bit of distance with a reasonable price and clean room.

We stayed 2 nights with 3 year old child. The hotel just 5 minutes walk from Sukhumvit road and near Terminal 21 shopping mall. Its location is very good, near Sofitel hotel and Sheraton hotel on Sukhumvit road, near Asok station.
Our room on 7th floor with a good view. The top of roof bar and small swimming pool on 8th floor. They are very nice, our child love their swimming pool so much, you can lerax with some glass beer or fresh fruit here.
We love this hotel and will stay here if come back Bangkok.
One thing made we disapointed at Bangkok was a local travel company, its name SalaThai Travel, should far away their pick up at the airport service. Their was combine us with other traveler from KUL and ask us waiting for at the airport over 2 hours for next flight landing. It is a awful service that I used before.

Room Tip: Choose a room near top of bar with best view

I've stayed in this hotel twice and since it was a relatively new hotel, the furnishings were new and clean and the decor of the hotel was sleek and minimalistic. The stay both times was very pleasant with helpful staff, and on the first visit they gave out free pink ice-cream cones as refreshments at check-in. It is quite a distance, about a 10 mins walk to the nearest BTS, Asok, however there is a hotel buggy that could bring you out to the entrance of the soi (alley). The room service was good albeit a little pricey and the staffs very helpful and efficient. However, they do not provide toothbrushes but there are always convenient stores located nearby to purchase them. The hotel is also not built very high and both times I stayed there, all we could see is the other building very close next to it with the curtains drawn. However, that was fine as there were no loud noises nearby and most of the time in the day we were out. One thing that the management might like to take note of is the steps leading down to the entrance of the building. It is themed black and red and with the lights on the path, it was quite hard to see where the steps ended and as such, we avoided walking down the stairs mostly and took the sloped path. I would recommend staying here as it is convenient to get around by BTS or you could get the reception to call for a cab which is pretty cheap to get around by. Overall, the service and the rooms were great and we had a enjoyable stay.

Property: Another new property in Bangkok, Ramada Encore is designed and built for travelers who desire for convenience and the basics. The interior is chic and modern.

Other service(s): The hotel is quite new, taxi drivers are not too familiar with the exact location so a lot of times, you will need to point out to the taxi drivers where the location is at. It is not too trouble as Soi 10, where the hotel is located, is a tiny street. Please get the hotel map when you check in. The hotel provides free WIFI.

Check-in: The front office staffs are not particularly friendly, but provided fast and easy check in process. Staff speaks decent English, enough to understand. On the contrary, the concierge personnel are very helpful and friendly.

Room: We stayed in the Deck room with balcony. The room was awfully small, bathroom even smaller. Though small, the room has all you need like lazy chair, bed, study table, TV, shower and the other basics. Decent hotel but nothing to shout about.

F&B: Room service price was reasonably cheap, food and drinks are decent.

Location: The location is fantastic. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to Bangkok’s latest shopping centre, Terminal 21, 7 Eleven, spa as well as Asok BTS station.
