Very clean, butiful rooms and garden, friendly staff, not far from Wat Pho, Khao San Road etc. The breakfast was a bit boaring but OK.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights and think it's good value for money. Our room on the second floor was spacious and bright, very clean and most likely just after a renovation. The location is convenient for walks (10min.) to the palace and Wat Pho. It takes about 10 min. by taxi to get to the nearest MRT station and cost about 100 baht. The only minus I can think of is that it's difficult to find and taxi drivers don't know the place. You can get a card for drivers with a map and instructions from the reception but it seems misleading as they make at least two rounds before they find the place. So make sure you fix the price from the start.

From check in on everything was wonderful. The bar at the hotel opened while I was staying there. I had a nice drink while checking a few things out on the free internet in the lobby. The courtyard was beautiful and well maintained.
The desk workers spoke good English and were willing to give suggestions on places to eat and what times to go see attractions.
Walking distance to many major sites and KaoSan Road.

Amongst hurly-burly of Bangkok, this place was a pleasant surprise for us. The old school building is beautifully renovated. It has a lovely garden with flowers and ponds. Very friednly and kind staff. The only drawback is that its location is out of public transport services -- so you always need to use taxi or tuk-tuk to get around. This part of Bangkok can't have modern infrastructure, but it certainly keeps its charms. The area is contrasted with more modern and glittering part of Bangkok.

This is the hotel to stay at if you want to 'do' the sites of The Old City. Don't be put off by the Bangkok taxi drivers who will look at your printed off map, look confused or simply shake their heads. This is quite normal just find another and you'll get there. Make sure you have the hotel phone number and if there's a problem they can speak to the reception staff.
The desk is manned all night, we arrived late and it wasn't a problem just turn left into the main gates through the alley way entrance.
Our room was imaculate and even though we arrived New Years Eve and had a mad night on Khaosan Road (1am foot massage with beer in hand on the street surrounded by revellers) we arrived back at the hotel and didn't hear a sound all night!
Breakfast was excellent in addition to the normal breakfast fare the staff explained the interesting Thai foods on offer.
After breakfast we were about to set off with guide books etc when we were given a very useful map printed by the hotel with the sights on and advise on how to get the best out of our day. Which apart from the river cruise we did completely on foot.
This is a new hotel and the staff really make the place with their wish to make your stay really great so my one ask would be please don't change, stay just the way you are.

A new hotel  on an old school site. Far enough from Khao San road to be quiet ....close enough  that it is an easy walk or a 40 baht taxi.   Minimalist decor but very tasteful.bathroom modern. Courtyard attractive with water features. Staff very friendly ,helpful and provide useful information about local places of interest.breakfast included.....I will stay here again.
