We booked a couple of nights with Rat in Bangkok prior to heading down to phuket so wanted to combine a stay close to the riverside with a tour of Bangkok. Rat met us from the airport and made us feel part of the family from the start. She gave us a days tour of temples and markets and made sure we saw all we wanted. Her house is close enough to walk to asiatique area. I would fully recommend Rat for the hospitality she offers, the comfort in the room, the fantastically huge breakfast, the advice she gives on where to go. The tour service she gives and just the feeling she gave that we did not stay long enough. Brilliant first experience of Bangkok. Our 2 year old loved Rat.

Contacted her several times and at first she was nice and responded to my emails. She was courteous over the phone also. However, I noticed on her email quotes she kept changing things and prices and services, and added extra beds I did not need nor wanted. Therefore, on one email back to her, I broke down the charges exactly per person and how much it should be according to her own website of 1200THB per room per two adults (Basically, 600THB per per person). Apparently she did NOT like this because afterwards she has not responded to any other of my emails, nor confirmed my reservation. I will look somewhere else now, and recommend you also look somewhere else. Something does not feel right here. Also, from reading some of the reviews this is a villa out on the suburbs of Bangkok, not near the center.

We recently stayed at Rat's in Bangkok.....what a great experience! I am skeptical by nature and when we were going through the streets to the b&b, I thought "what have i done?". But when i saw the b&b and our rooms I thought "WOW!". The room was perfect...great bed, shower, hi speed wifi, satellite tv, and clean clean clean. Rat and her family were fabulous and she made a wonderful breakfast for us each morning that was enough to last most of the day. They are very friendly, very helpful, and very knowledgeable. She even turned me onto a local plant that is supposed to be good for dry skin. We were treated like royalty. Next time we come to Bangkok, it will be for a month with Rat!

Stay at Rats in early August 2013 for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Airport pick up went very smoothly and it is well worth the small charge given the distance that Rats is from the airport. Our room was spotless as well as comfortable with air conditioning and ensuite. Breakfast is traditional and authentic and extremely tasty. Rat is a dynamic Thai lady who will assist in whatever you may require. Her English is good. We enjoyed being in the burbs in a real Thai home.

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Rat's B&B. Arranging everything over email went smoothly, and Rat picked us up from the airport late. Breakfast was delicious (we loved the dumplings!), and Rat gave great recommendations for sightseeing.

We had planned to use the guide service but when we decided we needed the day to relax, there was no pressure from Rat...and she recommended a great place nearby for Thai massage.

We were very happy for the chance to stay with Rat and her family!

6 of us stayed Rat's B&B in late June 2013. In addition, we arranged for airport pick-up and tour services around Bangkok during our short 2 day stay in Bangkok. Everything went smoothly from the beginning when we first contacted her via email inquiring about her services through the last day when her son Nut took us to the airport. Everyone at the B&B was marvelous and made us feel as if we were part of the family.

Each day started with a superb breakfast that had a good mix of western as well as Asian breakfast items. The rooms were great. The bed was comfortable, the furnishings were nice, and the bathroom was great. Moreover, the WiFi at the B&B was much appreciated. For that matter, Nut's van had WiFi which we enjoyed on the ride from the airport to the B&B.

The tour service was superb as it took us to the places we wanted to see despite our short time in Bangkok. Nut was a very informative and friendly guide and driver. While driving about Bangkok, he provided insight and information about the areas we were driving through. In addition, he took our wishes into consideration and took us to restaurants which provided both good ambience and good Thai food.

Rat is a superb tour guide. She arranged an itinerary that encompassed what we wanted to see despite the limited time we had in Bangkok. She was very considerate of my Mom's needs. Despite the crowd at the Train Market, she managed to find both a stool and a quiet nook for my 85 year old Mother to sit. At the Grand Palace, Rat volunteered to stay with my Mom who was tiring while the rest of us toured the grounds.

I highly recommend Rat's B&B and tour services for anyone who has limited time in Bangkok. We would have trouble navigating Bangkok on our own. Rat and her tour service took us about efficiently and quickly in their tour van. She and her family will ensure that you enjoy all the beauty that Bangkok offers. On our previous trip to Bangkok, we stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott. That was a nice place as well but our stay at Rat's B&B provided us with a taste of local life in very comfortable surroundings. Rat and her family will definitely make you feel at home.

I have been to Bangkok many times and used Rat for her guide services to see local sites. She is extremely knowledgable, friendly and well prepared to help anyone needing guide services. Although I have not stayed at her B&B, I can imagine the same level of service is there too. One of the best people you will ever meet!
