“Mostly old books”
Reviewed August 25, 2013 via mobile

Dont get your hopes up if you are looking for a book of the last years. They have a great selection of books but most of them are old. Membership is too expensive for what it is worth.

“Dulzura De Hacer Nada, Sweetness of doing nothing.”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

The sweetness of doing nothing. With the main library being closed and Bangkok being half deserted. I had a privilege of spending a day with my best friend the Garden Cafe of Neilson Hayes Library.

Just to walk around the garden and to look at the building is just wonderful. In a city like Bangkok, silence is very much appreciated and Neilson Hayes have given me plenty today.

“historic feel”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

It's like going back in history a little. If you become a member you can borrow books. Usually there is some art worth looking at in the gallery

“Great atmosphere”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

I love this place and have been visiting it since 2010. Not only has it an extensive library to meet your reading hunger, but also gives you a feeling of the colonial atmosphere, and has a cute little cafe next door.

“Personification of dullness”
Reviewed July 5, 2012

Utterly worthless and dull and boring beyond words. Lifeless, soulless, grim.Worse than the British Club next door.
