I had probably one of the best time of my trip we were upgraded to a suite as we were platinum members on Starwood. Service was flawless, amazing breakfast in the morning. A must stay. We were greeted at the door in the tradition Thai manner and then whisked up to a top floor whereby greeted again by a concierge and taken to a space whereby we sat down had a Thai tea while we checked in. Escorted up and personally shown our room it's features etc. oh and happy hour is seriously the best ever small dishes of food - yummy. Will def stay again

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days as a couple. The location was really good as it was very near the shopping centres and it had a link bridge connecting the BTS station to the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was big, spacious and very clean. We were given complimentary internet service and the speed was good. Buffet breakfast was good with lots of variety. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the St. Regis Bangkok for the first time last weekend. From the time we arrived until the time we departed we were made to feel like VIP's. The property is in an excellent location in the Paraphrasong area near the Erawan Shrine and within walking distance to the Central World shopping center. Even better the hotel has a 2nd floor bridge to the Ratchadamri skytrain station which was very convenient and only one stop from Siam Paragon and two stops from MBK.

The service is outstanding with each room assigned a "floor" butler to take care of all your needs from pillows to fresh hot coffee or tea in the morning and evening. What I really enjoyed is that the staff appeared to anticipate your needs, always there when you need them but never intrusive or hovering around you.

We arrived late at night and the manager accommodated us with check in in our room which very unexpected. Not sure if they do this with every guest but it was a very nice touch. Our room was a corner suite with ample space and a very large bathroom plus a powder room in the living area. The view was of the Bangkok Sports Club golf course and expansive without other large buildings blocking the way.

What really impressed was at the end of our stay, upon transfer to the airport the St. Regis has staff there that will cart your luggage around, get you checked in and escort you to the departures area. I've never experienced this level of attention to detail and service, particularly on departure.

We will no doubt return to the St. Regis. If service is your thing, I would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Go for a corner suite...worth the extra cost.

As we are living in Bangkok already for 4 1/2 years, this was the second time we visit the hotel for a short break with two. Our toddler was staying home with our nanny.
It is a great place to relax, have a good dinner and if you want you can easily walk to shopping centers or take the skytrain.
The pool area is quiet and they have a good menu for lunch. Fitness is well equipped.
Breakfast is good but be prepared it can be busy.
We love the rooms and butler service.

Pretentious, tiny rooms, tiny pool that's very crowded and not swim able for most of the day (absolutely no shade). THey charge for Internet, and after you pay, you can only use it on ONE device. Location is a little off - yes, attached to Skytrain and you must take the Skytrain to get anywhere (nothing is within walking distance). Zuma restaurant looks cool in pics but is right under the Skytrain bridge, so not exactly a great al fresco location. The butler is a complete gimmick and useless - rather than putting a nespresso machine or some tea bags in the room as most other hotels do, you have to call the butler and wait for 15 - 20 minutes for your coffee or tea. I have no idea what the rationale is. Why wont they let me make my own coffee? There are much better choices in BKK - I've tried kempinski, Peninsula and Sukhothai - each of which has pros and cons but all of them are better than st Regis. (Btw, Peninsula also has no coffee machine, but their room service is FAST).

Dear Tenchinini,
Thank you for your comments posted here.
Our beautiful and new rooms range from 44-60 sqm. Please let us know what your requirements are in order for us to accommodate you accordingly on your next visit. Our pool is 15x6m in size and located on the 15th floor. Is has great views over the Bangkok skyline. The pool receives sunlight from about 1pm onwards and is an excellent spot to enjoy the sunset. It also has a covered area with daybeds. We would like to apologize for the misunderstanding of our Wifi service. Please let our butlers know how many devices you would like to use and we will arrange for it accordingly. WIFI in public areas is complimentary. Our hotel is connected via a bridge to the Rajadamri Station of the Skytrain Network. It is only one stop to both, the Siam or Silom area and 4 stops to the Chaopraya River (10min). Within 500m of walking you can reach the famous 4 Faces Buddha Temple and the shopping malls Gaysorn Plaza, Central World among others as well as Lumpini Park for a morning workout or a leisurely stroll. For delays of our complimentary variety of freshly brewed coffees and teas served by our St. Regis Butlers we would like to apologize. We look forward to another stay with us.
