Unfortunately this hotel is a few blocks away from the main road (Sukhumvit) - not hard to find, but it seems most people want to be closer to Sukhumvit. Too bad, because the price is moderate and the rooms are huge and modern. Everything works. Excellent staff, willingly kept a bag for us while we toured Chiang Mai.

The bad? Only one elevator. And in our bathroom there is a door that opens out to outer space. In the U.S. this door would be litigious, but in Thailand I guess not... A sleepy drunk could mistakenly wander through this door, and fall several stories to his/her death... strange.

We did not eat in the restaurant.

Stayed here for 3 nights in December 12, Overal a decent hotel but nothing special. The room I was allocated ( room number 302) had beige carpets that were very dirty, needs a good clean/wash. The room was spacious and with a super king size bed, but again the mattress need to be replaced/cleaned as my partner woke up several times itching. No iron in room, paid half daily rate for late check out but had phone call from reception to ask when I would check out and again a knock on the door by someone asking when I would be checking out. Poor commuincation between staff. Never use the hotel phone, not even to make local calls - I called reception to ask the cost of a local call and was told it was 15 thai baht per minute, when I checked out the cost was almost double per minute. I asked who I could complain to and she referred me to TripAdvisor ?? The receptionist on duty didnt care and did nothing to help. I have been to Bangkok 4 times now and stayed at over 10 different hotels, there are other hotels in a similar price range that offer better /cleaner rooms with better service.

Room Tip: Avoid room 302

I highly recommend the hotel, within a walking distance to the bustling Sukhumvit Road and the Sky Train. I stayed there for 4 nights during the off-peak season with my family, rooms are clean and breakfast ok --children under 4 years eat for free. We never ate other meals (lunch or dinner) in the resturant as we saw the food was overpriced and the menu list was uninteresting. In anycase there are lots of better options in area. However watch out for one of the Porters who after carrying your bags will start selling you "private tour packages" that are outrageously priced. He will also offer you his taxi, overload you with brochures and maps etc. Secondly, the hotel shares a swimming pool and gym with another hotel nearby, so you will have to walk across to the hotel. There are No kids activities --unfortunately --i guess it is more appropriate if you have no kids.

Had a couple of nights here and it is good value. It is about a 5 minute walk from the busy Sukhumvit Road and the Sky Train. There is a shuttle that runs at least once an hour in each direction for those who prefer.

The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Plenty storage space, a mini bar with reasonable prices and a 32 inch TV and sitting area. The bed was very comfortable and although no bath the shower was extremely relaxing.

The restaurant was used for breakfast and although not a huge selection was very tasty with the staff taking a pride in their work. All staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. I would stay again if back in Bangkok.

Room Tip: Corner room a bigger

In my experience Thailand generally has very hard uncomfortable beds, and I thought paying a premium room rate would ensure a nice comfortable bed and satisfying sleep.

But how wrong I was with this assumption, because after initially checking in and discovering the rock hard mattress I asked reception if there were any soft beds and was informed all beds were the same.

Everything is good with this hotel, except the stay was absolutely ruined by the rock hard king size bed mattress because I had great difficulty sleeping due to the extreme discomfort.

This bed was harder than any bed I have ever experienced in Thailand and I could not sleep on that bed. Luckily the room has a sofa, and on the first night I moved from the rock bed to the sofa at 2am and was able to sleep.

This is a wake up call to the Kingston Suits management, foreigners do not like rock hard beds and many customers will not book a return stay at your hotel.

Excellent service. Hotel has own Tuk-tuk to nearby BTS stations and shopping malls. Staff knows enough English.

I crazy love the location!!! Walking distance to main road, Sukhamvit, where the Asok stations is, still walking distance to Terminal 21 shopping mall where there is MacDonald's. Walking distance to nice eateries too!

VERY easy to hail meter-cabs from right outside the hotel door.

Calm and peaceful, not crowded with rowdy tourists. Love the country feel. Like the spacious ground floor layout, always has free seats to rest in. Newspapers and magazines are updated.

Although swimming pool and gym, is in the next-door hotel, the pool is good, and feels private, like my own pool.

Breakfast tastes good, though only serves Thai and Western fare, with the occasional Chinese fare.

Room is very, very spacious. Bathroom has huge shower head. Toilet is clean, so is the room, cupboards, fridge/pantry area.

Will go back if in Bangkok again. Highly recommended.

Having stayed and reviewed this hotel quite a few times, I really don't have much more to add..The only thing I can say is that I am still happy to stay here .. The staff from check in to check out, housekeeping and coffee shop and friendly and smiling whenever I was around ..
I was fortunate enough to meet the manager Nikki this time around, and he spent quite a while chatting with me .. That just made me more comfortable staying here ..
Even with all the new hotels coming up around the area, am quite happy to stay where I am for now
