Our travel agent arranged for us to take this dinner cruise based on the advice of his ground agents.

The entertainment was mediocre and interfered with watching the scenery. The food was VILE - completely inedible.

This is truly a waste of time and money. Don’t go!

Great show... The food was pretty good too, but the soup... Just about blew my head off, way too spicy for me

A boat restaurant for the river cruise along the Chaopraya river, with Thai style boat.
A medium side boat contains around 20 tables for dinner. But the prices and quality of Thai foods or Sea foods are not reasonable, including a very short cruise compares to the other bigger restaurant boat cruise, except no choice for your need. The traditional Thai dance show is alright by the charm performers.

I was so looking forward to an evening on the river relaxing see the sites all lit up, enjoying some cultural dancing and a lovely dinner. It was a bit of a disappointment and not really worth the money. When I looked around the boat no one seemed to be enjoying themselves. I thought the drinks were rather expensive considering the initial cost of $1300 baht, you have a choice of seafood or Thai, I chose the seafood and it was rather average.

Being on a boat along the river was pleasant enough, but most aspects of the cruise were pretty ordinary.

I went with my sister - so not looking for a particularly romantic cruise - but if you were, you might be a little disappointed. Not much of a mood or vibe.

We were told we'd be picked up by a shuttle bus for the cruise, but when we turned up for it we were told there was an issue with the bus and we had a guide from the company instead walk with us to the river and catch the ferry to the stop where the cruise departed. Who knows how legitimate this was (common to hear of dodgy tours where one thing is promised but another is presented when you turn up), but it was fine by us as we both enjoyed the walk, but it would be a problem for people with mobility issues. Our guide paid the ferry cost and was super friendly and informative. Chatting with him was the best part of the whole experience.

The cruise itself left at 7pm and we were served food pretty quickly. There's a choice of thai or international (i.e. western) food. I'm vegetarian and requested this in advance, which they provided without trouble. Overall the food was mediocre at best - entree was spring rolls for the thai menu and french fries for the vego menu and the main consisted of 4 little plates of different things (in a kind of bento box style arrangement), including a curry, rice, a salady thing and a stir fry. It didn't taste too fresh and was probably the worst food I've had in Thailand - it was edible and some tasty moments, but considering the culinary standard is pretty high in most places, this was disappointing.

It was kind of nice to see the temples lit up at night, but not really worth it overall. We paid 1600 Baht each (around $50 AUD) which is a massive rip off for the quality of food and length of cruise compared to general prices in Thailand. Drink prices were not excessively high - though certainly 'tourist' prices - and cost extra (even soft drink or beer).

They had some Thai dancing, which was interesting to see. There was also a girl playing a traditional instrument (dulcimer of some sort), but the speaker system was awful and we couldn't hear it so well (we were halfway down the boat). Similar problem when the host spoke on the PA about some of the things we passed - couldn't understand much due to the speakers being crap and too quiet.

Cruise docked in at 8.45 (15 mins early) and we got a mini bus back to the hotel as promised.

These things are about the company you have for it, and we had a good time, but would have had a good time at a stationary restaurant or bar (and 3200 Baht would have bought many rounds for the entire room). Probably better to spend your cash elsewhere.
