“Good location”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

For me the most important thing in a hotel to feel home from the first moment. To feel this 3 things are required: friendly staff, cleanliness and good food. All the 3 conditionswere right so we had a good time there. Rooms are big enough and includes a kitchen. There is a nice outdoor pool (8th floor) with comfortable sunbeds and towels (very good chillout place).
The hotel is close to the metro line. On request guest are taken by a small car to the metro.
The area has many bars which does not disturb the guests' peace.
I recommend this hotel especially for couples and group of friends.
(Grand palace is about 30 min (metro & ship)).

Big and nice rooms with full kitchen facilities and even a washing machine (with washing powder). The microwave was wonderful whenenever someone was too tired - could easily pick up food at one of the shopping malls and heat it up on arrival. Really useful. Very clean hotel with helpful and friendly reception staff. Good location, 5 minutes walk to Nana station and close to some of the big malls and anything else you may need. We felt comfortable walking to the station, but the hotel does provide a tuk-tuk to the station. Only downside was the breakfast, with a poor selection of food and staff who barely spoke English and generally didn't seem very organised. Also breakfast gets very busy so leave extra time if you're in a hurry. Apart from that, a good hotel and we would stay again.

The hotel has comfortable rooms, good service, a good breakfast service and is well located. The walls are however paper thin and you can hear your neighbors if they are loud and drunk. Also the room smelled of stale smoke.

Room Tip: Choose a room far from the elevators.

No bad things to say about this hotel. It was in a good location in Nana, Sukhimvit. Restaurants and street food near by. Plenty of bars and clubs. Most of them look like spots for Foreigners to hook up with working girls. Not bothersome or anything, but just to be aware

We stayed here for three nights over New Year 2013 and absolutely loved it. The location is excellent with everything you need right on the doorstep. Nana skytrain is a very short (and safe - even late at night) walk away and is an easy and convenient way of getting around the city. You also have numerous shopping malls, bars and restaurants in close proximity to the hotel and in the evening lots of vendors set up shop in the area; an interesting way to spend an hour or so if you fancy a walk after your meal, some of the stuff on sale is quite hilarious!
The rooms are very well laid out. We stayed in a delux studio which was massive and had everything we needed and more, they even provide washing powder for the machine. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the housekeeping staff were really friendly, the only negative thing I could say about the room was that the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor but hey so what, it soon dries out with the Bangkok heat. It stated on my booking confirmation from Booking.com that the wifi was chargeable at 350 THB per 24 hours but it was actually FREE and worked perfectly.
Breakfast was included in our room rate and was OK, it did get a bit repetative by the 3rd day but I think that happens in every hotel. The breakfast room is really small and was very busy on the first morning of our stay (New Years Day), unfortunately the staff don't seem to have a procedure in place for allocating guests to tables so it did turn into a bit of a free for all on that 1st morning.
The pool area is quite nice, not too many sunbeds and not too much sun to be had but it's a nice enough place to relax for an hour or so.
On the whole we had a brilliant experience staying at the Phachara Suites and this will now become our preferred hotel whenever we visit Bangkok.

This is our second time staying at Phachara Suites. We flew in from Ho Chi Minh and had a 1 bedroom executive for seven nights. We went with the executive because we wanted to have a decent-sized balcony. Fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, microwave, stove. Since this was our second time, we had no problems getting there from Nana station. (Hint: When you go down the stairs from the train, go in the opposite direction to the first alley).

Our one-bedroom executive, however, did not have the lovely rain shower head that we had last year in the 1 bedroom studio, but this was a small price to pay for the nice balcony. The tuk-tuk is available everyday to take you to the BTS. However, do not take it during rush hour as it is faster to walk. Go to Soi 4 to a bar called Checkers for some great, authentic Thai food. There is a 7-11 across the street where you can buy beer, however, Thailand only allows beer sales at stores between 11:00am and 2:00pm and 5:00pm to midnight.

I was looking forward to using their pool again and was not disappointed. Water clean, very cold, and very refreshing after being out in the Bangkok sun.

Again, please take inventory of everything in the room when you check in. The staff checks the room when you check out if anything is missing, you will be charged (including laundry bags, umbrella).

Room Tip: Room Tip: The rooms facing east do not get the hot Bangkok sun in the afternoon.
