Cool and Clean Hotel

Review of DS67 Suites
4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Sep 9, 2012
Small but amazing hotel, with friendly staffs. Able to get all the great information about bangkok from receptionists. Super close to BTS, bakery, family mart, and a very nice restaurant. Beds are a bit hard, breakfast is way too simple. But i don't expect much from the price. Rest of stuffs are still great. Definitely will be going back.

Great hotel to stay at even though the location is a bit far off, in Phra Khanong. Very close to BTS station, less than 5mins walk away. Family mart just below the hotel. Very friendly staffs who attended to our needs impeccably.

Saw some reviews saying that the rooms are noisy with traffic but i find it okay. Rooms are really clean and love their concept of saving the earth, where they put small tips on bathroom walls. Shower gel and shampoo are provided. Breakfast spread is simple and nothing fantastic.

Didnt take any of their breakfast after the first time. Not to worry as there are shops nearby selling breakfast. If you were to walk to Ekkamai BTS, you will probably find some street food too!

Currently they are having a promotion which is stay 10 nights and get a night free! But be sure to book from their hotel website as other agents will not be entitled to this promotion.

Definitely coming back and looking forward to my next Bangkok trip!

I've stayed at this hotel about five times now (working my way up to a free night once I stay 10 times!) and am always happy with my stay. I am currently living in a province outside of Bangkok in less than desirable accommodations, so we always come here and enjoy the clean rooms and great location to the BTS. We are always given a warm welcome by reception and a complimentary glass of iced tea before being shown our room. Each room has been spotless and the bathrooms have shower gel and shampoo provided. The included breakfast isn't great--just toast, bananas, cereal, and apples--but occasionally juice will be provided as well. Make sure to book directly through the hotel's website to have the stay count towards a free night--although the hotel website can be a bit confusing. Looking forward to my next stay at Ds67!

Room tip: Take a room without a window-- paying extra for a window room is a waste considering the windows are completely painted over and you can't see out!

Loved this Hotel, not big, but great helpful staff, very clean and central to Public Transport. Close to great eatery M Coffee and Bakery about 400m away and easy access to BTS. Very secure and rooms though not large are comfortbale. Only gripes had a room at front too noisy with traffic and beds are very hard. Would I stay again, yes but would ensure the room is away from front of the building

Room tip: Hotel Feature Tip: Get room away from frontage, and very close to BTS, plenty of eateries within 1.5km

I have lived in Bangkok for 4 years ealier and have always lived and stayed near Sukhumvit 23-33 area, which is quite an upmarket area, so was a bit hesitant to book at DS67 in Phrakanong which is bit far off. However was pleasently surprised to find the hotel away from the hustle bustle(although its rite on Sukhumvit road). Its a well manitained & cozy boutique style hotel. The room I had was a superior(with a window) is adequate so is the bathroom! Staff is mainly young girls who are very helpful and courteous!.breakfast is free and could do with a bit more variety(i stayed for almost 10days!) All in all very good value for money hotel Highly recommended!!

Room tip: Superior rooms cost only a few baht more than Standard rooms ! So go them.

We stayed for the first few days of a 3 month trip.
Room was a decent size, clean and modern....
Very close to the skytrain....
Reception staff didn't speak great English, but they were friendly and willing to help....
Wifi in rooms was good..
Breakfast was in the small cafe.....very basic.
The location was a little way out from the centre for us.....there was nowhere worth walking to, even with close proximity to skytrain.
The room faced the main road, but wasn't noisy....pretty well soundproofed.
An OK place to first land, but that's all.
