We chose DS67 for our first 2 nights in Bangkok (early June 2012). I can't say enough great things about this hotel. Our room was on the second floor - we were able to take the stairs but there was also an elevator available. Our room was a bit small but comfortable for 2 people. The bed was large (I think it was a king?) The AC worked very well and it got nice and cool. Our room had a window which had a view of the busy Sukumvit road - speaking of - the location was AMAZING!!! We were walking distance from a BTS stop and right next door was a family mart. Other than that, the restroom was also nice and clean and comfortable size. It had a TV and like most hotels, 2 free water bottles per day. There's also a rooftop "lounge" on the 5th floor - and open air area with some chairs.
Downstairs they had a breakfast table every day, with some fruit, toast and cereal. Also - coffee and tea were available. There was also a little attached juice bar which served sandwiches and drinks, teas and coffees for sale on off breakfast hours. There was also a "spa" of sorts (we didn't try it but the prices were decent, I think 400B for a 1hour massage?).
But better than anything was the amazing customer service!!!! They were very accomodating. Also they helped us with any quesitons and even gave us a "stay 10 get one night free" card - which I hope we will be able to use in the future - because we loved Bangkok and we loved DS67!! There's also a "security guard" that stayed outside the building which was nice if we needed help carrying something in - he always opened the door for us (though sometimes late at night he would catch some shut eye)... lol! It was still refreshing to have that extra security!!
Also the price for this room was SOOOO AFFORDABLE and worth every penny. Highly recommended for a long or short stay in Bangkok.
