We booked a superior bedroom here for 2 nights via Agoda at the net rate US$41.47 per night plus the arrangement of airport pick-up.

Our pick-up driver, a cool white-haired chap, got us very quickly to the hotel. The hotel front doesn't look like much, but any concerns we (mainly by my mum) had at first were quickly dispelled by the friendly and efficient front desk staff. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a small hotel - so there is no swimming pool or posh restaurant/bar. Free wifi is available; there is also a PC at the lobby area for the guests' use.

Our room (#303) was small but very clean and tidy; with a comfy bed, fridge, cable TV and bathroom. This must be the 'muay thai' room since the display wall had a gigantic funky picture of kickboxers! Although you can hear the occasional vehicle passing by since the hotel is right next to the main road, we had no problems sleeping,

No comments about the breakfast, as our Agoda hotel rate doesn't include breakfast. Instead we grabbed a quick bite from the Family Mart right next to the hotel, and the street vendors selling fruit and crepes en route to the BTS stop. Room service includes simple Thai and western dishes such as curry noodles and spaghetti, at very reasonable rates - we had the green curry noodle dish at 89 baht. You also get 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water every day.

The front desk staff were great with their advice on navigating the BTS, directions to our planned destinations, and written addresses in Thai & English for us which proved very useful. They even had preprinted maps showing useful spots (food, massage, convenience stores) around the hotel and the adjacent On Nut and Thong Lo areas. The BTS stop, Phra Khanong, is only a minute's walk straight down - getting us fairly quickly to the city center.

We enjoyed the massage service (250 baht for 1 hour, I chose the foot & half-body massage option) in our room on our last night, while watching the local announcements of the ballot counts! The masseuse was excellent and it was too bad we were leaving the next day, otherwise I would definitely book her services again!

In summary - (minor) cons are: traffic noise, few sights as the location is away from the city. Pros: Excellent location, top-notch and very friendly service, reasonable room rates. Overall, a value-for-money and comfortable stay in this cosy interesting hotel!

Room Tip: Email the hotel in advance to ask for a quiet room, if you're sensitive to noise.

We stayed here for 4 nights and the staff was very friendly and informative. They gave us a taxi tour guide named Pho who is the best tour guide we've ever encountered. He took us to the nearby provinces to see temples (Ayutthaya), gave the best recommendations, and even an almost hidden cave access to river Kwai.

The hotel was small and cozy. The room was funky and spacious. Breakfast was okay, nothing great but we were kept full. Again, kudos to the staff for accommodating us even when we would get back from sightseeing so late in the night.

Location was great as it was a minute or two walk to the train station. And do no forget to order their awesome coffee! At ThB70 it's the cheapest yummiest coffee I've ever tasted.

I would recommend this place to my friends :)

Hi everyone,
Me and my wife visited BKK recently. We stayed at this hotel in BKK. Its a comfortable place to stay. The hotel is a bit far from main city center but the advantage is its very near to SKY TRAIN station named Phra Khanong. Its very convenient if you travel by this train in BKK. And the breakfast is not Buffet but more than enough for one person. Hotel stuff are really helpful and security is very good.
Thanx

Stayed here our first two nights in Bangkok. It was cute, clean, and conveniently located. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The manager actually helped us plan our day and even told us of ways to save money and avoid falling for scams pulled on tourists.
Their breakfast, which was included with the room, was good. It was cereal, toast, eggs, hot dog and fresh fruit. Certainly can't complain... it was a convenient and decent way to start the day.
It is <5 min walk to the skytrain station and was far enough away from the general craziness of the city that we were able to sleep at night.
I would definitely stay here again.

CLEAN! Nothing complaint! I stay on 5/F, it's quiet behind restaurant. Staff is considerate and helpful with smiles. 1 minute walk to BST station easy to go anywhere. Room is small but not regrets for this budget.
