Overall great hostel for a good price. Nice accommodations and friendly staff. Little out of the way but a cheap taxi ride to anywhere and close to the sky rail. I would happily stay here again next time I'm in Bangkok.

This was a great little hostel away from the noisy and touristy Khao San Road. The hostel had an elegant open design and the rooms were very clean. The staff were friendly and happy to help you with any query or give you advice on how to get around the city. They have an extremely handy map with tabs for directions for your taxi or bus directions. The hostel is in a little back street which makes it lovely an quite but still easy to find. It is close to the BTS skytrain and you can get into Siam for shopping in less than 15 minutes. It is also close the famous Chatuchak Weekend Markets. Oh they were also very forgiving when I accidentally broke a glass -sorry about that.

This hostel is one of te best hostels i've stayed in so far! It is super clean, has got a certificate for cleanliness, and is located in a quiet street. Some people complain in their reviews about the location, don't listen to them, i like it here far more than the super touristy areas. The skytrain is just around the corner, only a 5 minute walk! And in the streets nearby you can buy very good streetfood. The hostel is a bit more expensive, 350baht/night in a 6 bed dorm, but totally worth it! They've got aircon too and the staff is super helpful! :)

We stayed here 3 nights. Place itself had a very funky vibe. Rooms ARE. Made with concrete, so the noise does reverberate if you are on the 2nd floor but it wasnt really an issue. The street its on is relatively quiet. Nothing much to see in the area but the BTS train are a short walk. The rooms themselves are basic and are nice. Bathrooms are unpainted concrete which means no mildew or smell!!! Something that is always an issue with Thailand hotels/ hostels. The whole place is clean cut basic and smart looking. The view from the roof is great!!! The front area is very zen like and good for just chilling out. They have alot of info downstairs and on the second floor big board. Breakfast is basic. There were ham and cheese sandwiches and salad, as well as toast and cereal and muesli. As well as coffee and tea and juice. For the price, your getting a lovely little room. Free from all the clutter like phones ( at the reception) and tv's ( in the space downstairs). Its a good stepping off point away from the noise and chaos that is Bangkok city and Khao San Road. Recommend for mature travellers who dont need the craziness younger travellers want.

Udee was the first hostel I stayed in South East Asia and it was one of the best. I liked it so much that I stayed there before leaving bangkok at the end of my trip. Udee is very clean, the beds were comfortable, and bathroom were also very clean. I like the rooftop area to relax in. The staff is nice and speaks in English well. I was impressed with how organized the hostel is. There are maps and directions to most places in the city. They even have little slips of paper with the name of your desitnation in Thai for your taxi driver. The hostel is a bit far from the city center but the BTS is nearby and I liked this area because it´s a bit quieter and less touristy. Chatuchuck market is nearby which is a treat and not to be missed on a visit to Bangkok.

We arrived after a 14 hour bus drive late in the evening. The bus dropped us off at Kaosan Road and from there it was really difficult to get a taxi to the guesthouse, because its really far away from the city center. So we called the Guesthouse and asked for their help or if they could cancel our booking, but they just didn't care.
If you look for a nice and clean room you should go there, but if you want a service or some information what traveller want they're really not the right choice. You even pay if you want to leave your luggage there 50 bhat per luggage per day and even you had to wash your plates from the breakfast. We travelled now for 2 months in asia and we never had such a poor service in a guesthouse.
